"The place did not honor the sign in front for a $14.95 filet special. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the basement and a draft from the upstairs forced me to wear my jacket the entire time. The menu for 65.00 included one small piece of salmon, cold mashed potatoes, small leafy salad, water, no bread, one- inch by one-inch piece of cheesecake and a glass of bubbly. When we made the reservation through Open Table, they did not say anything about a set menu. So after sitting down, and ruining my evening, we paid the bill for 140.00 plus tip. The server was nice and attentive, the floor was dirty and the restroom was deplorable. When I complained I was told they did not honor the special on this day. Why have the sign out in front? When we left the sign was down. I called and asked to talk to a manager, waited 8 minutes and told her about the situation, she said she knew the sign was up, but this was a special day and it was all over social media, like have time to check on social media everytime I go out. Well, when I asked her name she refused and hung up. A poor place to eat and do business with. I tried to call back and ask for the owner's name and got hung up on. What a lousy place and the poorest customer relations. I suggest going to any place but there if in Broad Ripple."

"Iozzo 's Garden is in a slightly off-beat section of town on South Meridian Street; however, once you 've eaten there, the few extra minutes drive time won 't matter. Classic Italian dishes, prepared very well, at a reasonable price. The building itself is 'experienced ' and provides a nice relaxing atmosphere. Good groups, laughter and a warmth you don 't ever feel in the 'chain ' eateries."
