"Excellent experience with the only drawback being our entrees arrived before we were finished with our appetizers. But we overlooked that with the totality of the meal. The outdoor dining was pleasurable and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The appetizers of French Onion soup and foie gras were fine and the entrees of Duck Confit and Flemish Beef Stew were delicious. Dessert of Creme Brûlée (with visible vanilla beans) and Alex's cake were sinful. And, our wonderful bottle of Beaujolais was only $40! We'll be back!"

"This is our fav date spot in DC. Itâs not pretentious but lovely, dark, and romantic. Itâs well run, attentive, but weâve never once had the awful experience of being deep into a conversation only to be awkwardly interrupted by a server who could care less. I also love that itâs not loud. The drinks are wonderful and they can make anything you like."
