"Village Inn has really gone down hill from what it once was. Now it closes at 8pm instead of being open late at night. You could always count on them being open late so you could have something to eat after a evening out. Now your lucky if it's even open. And if the have the wait staff to serve you. And a cook to prepare your food correctly. Stopped in yesterday with family for something to eat around 5pm. Place had maybe 10 or 15 tables occupied. So not very busy. Wait staff was short handed. The single cook was the only one in the kitchen and was doing double duty, and doing dishes and prep from what I saw and heard. I ordered biscuits and sausage gravy. .it took almost 45 minutes for our food to arrive. My order arrived with no sausage patties. Instead it had 2 dried out sausage links cut in half in biscuits. The sausage gravy was cols along with the hashbrowns, and my overeasy eggs were over hard. The rest of our family's orders were wrong or missing items. VILLAGE INN used to be our go to place for late night eats. But no longer. We won't be patronizing them any longer. This is all due to the covid epidemic and its fall out. No one wants to work anymore. Everyone is short staffed, and the easiest way for them is to close as early as possible. Or just close and go out of business. Not just for Village Inn but every food service establishment. So if you have a good place to dine, good good, and customer service. Frequent them, tip the staff, and tell your friends and family."

"The good. Chicken melanessa sandwich was fantastic. Lots of flavor and great bun. They also have fountain soda which is always a plus because I drink a lot and paying for cans is no bueno. The bad/average. I ordered the three taco platter. Pastor, Asada and Fish. All three were average at best. The corn tortillas had a bar like smell and all three tacos lacked flavor and tenderness. Chips and salsa were average as well. Conclusion, if you want a great torta, go here. Grab tacos at another place. Service was fast however."

"We had the most incredible experience at the Spartan House. It was very clear that there were some issues with the kitchen staff. But it didn’t stop Barbie and the other servers from being absolutely wonderful and on top of their game. Barbie was so attentive, sweet, fun and personable. She made the best out of a very busy situation and overall our experience couldn’t have been better. The food was great, service was beyond wonderful, and we will absolutely be back again and again!"

"We eat here several times a month, and we love the food. I tried their new Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, and it is the most genuine I have had since we were on the east coast. Will be ordering this again. Terri had the spaghetti and meat sauce (her fave), and met the cook. Jasmine is a friendly person and she sure knows how to make good food. We’ll be back, and let you know how it is."

"My wife and I went to Lelands prior to a second city show on 12/23/16. The food was amazing and the service was great! They did accidentally bring us the wrong tacos. We were perfectly fine with keeping the tacos they put on the table since we did take a bite or two. The GM would not take no for an answer and brought us out the correct order within minutes let us keep the the wrong dish! She was very professional and courteous. The beer selection was very good as well. We were on a time crunch to make the show and they were able to do this even with a packed restaurant. I had a burger medium rare..... shocker here everyone.... it was actually cooked medium rare! Awesome burger! I have tried other places burgers in down town Aurora and this was at the top of the list! I highly recommend trying this place out. Great food. Great Service. Great Time."

"Well this place is usually busy when we go to the mall, but it is worth the wait. I don't know how they make the pretzels, but there are delicious. Best I have ever had in my life. There not to expensive so it does not break the wallet either. Maybe it is because I have only had frozen pretzels before and never fresh ones. I don't know, but it is excellent."

"Kind staff and amazing food. The only annoyance was the constant flies around the table. This is just a location issue and not entirely their fault. Other then that we were all really happy with our experience."
