"What a SWEET lil' Dive! Delicious Old Skool type Authentic Chinese! So much flavor! Entrees are not dry bland like some others. Sometimes enough meat; sometimes could be more but we know it's rough out here with inflation. Food was ready within 15 min of ordering. Fresh hot nice portion size about $10 $9.95) for Combination plate w/eggroll. Was greeted and told Have A Nice Evening. Friend of mines bought Chinese from here a weekend and it was so good that I wind up going back at the end of the following week to get some again. Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp Broccoli, Beef Broccoli, the pork fried rice served with the entrees, eggroll here: Awesome!"

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Determined to order the takeout thanks to all amazing reviews, I was disappointed. my buffalo hot chicken sandwich was soggy, stale and tasteless. the diligent fell from the huh. there was 1 pickle, no soaking, but somehow the salate was so tender? I couldn't even get through half of it. Moreover, the perpetrators were definitiw frozen McCain darts. overall, I would not come here or I would recommend it."
