The tartar with toasts and fries was good. shrimp and mushroom pasta were of medium quality, because shrimp was either too cooked or frozen before. "It was a Monday evening in Aigle, after returning from our trip to Les Diablerets We decided to look for a place to eat before returning to Leysin. Not knowing the place we decided to follow the route to the city center. To our...surprise most of the restaurants are closed because it's Monday. There are some that are open, snack bars and Italian restaurant. We passed by the Thai Basilic. At the first glance, it doesn't look so appealing. A few tables and some clients already eating. What caught my eyes are the people sitted in one of the table. They were the group who were walking ahead of us to the center. So, we decided to enter and ask for a table for They put a table for We then ordered our meal. Surprisingly it looks so appetizing and delicious. And it really was. A home-cooked Thais' meal. I think, they started as a take-home business and because of their success, decided to expand. When in Aigle, try this restaurant. You won't regret it. The most important of all, it's not expensive."
