"Fui jantar para poder usufruir do ambiente perto do mar, num sítio recatado mas assim que estava a espera para ter mesa ( e estava vazio ) percebi que a noite iria ser um descalabro. O restaurante tinha duas mesas reservadas, uma ocupada e todas as outras poderiam ser para nos, mas tiveram que ir dois funcionários ver. A funcionária que estava ao balcão ficou a olhar pra nos sem compreender a nossa espera e indicou que poderíamos ir para uma mesa. Só aqui já se percebe a desorganização que existe entre os funcionários. O empregado que nos serviu colocou a mesa para nós onde se esqueceu por tempo indeterminado de colocar guardanapos, e serviu entradas porque assim sugerimos. Ainda que fosse simpático, não tem perfil. Os restantes funcionários também estavam todos com ar de sono, pouco profissional. Pedimos Bacalhau com Broa - desilusão. Postas grandes, mas sensaboronas. Falta de tempero, batata a murro mal cozinhada. Não pedimos sobremesa nem café é assim ficaram 30€ nun jantar ridículo. Com esta experiência e uma anterior que tivemos, a não voltar."

"It is near the beach and it serves a lot of seafood we have been looking for. we were greeted with a smile when we arrived. service is attentive and thoughtful. the environment is contemporary, relaxed and very beautiful. for beginners we had olives, broth and...cheese we had whiskers, padrón pepper (small green, sweet paprika rare spicy hot), sweet cheese. everything perfectly cooked, with a lot of taste. we had a wonderfully grilled codfish. they had other fresh fish on charcoal grill that looked good, but we grilled after a kodfish! for dessert we had a passion fruit ring that was also perfect. the price is not cheap, but not too expensive and it is worth the money. the place was very clean, including the bathroom. everything in all, we want to come here more often."

"I've been in Areal Restaurante for 20 years. The new management has no idea how to run an established restaurant. We have a table for family and friends for 20:15... 4 children and 6 adults... The children eat at 21:45! Just... after they get up and get closer to the waiter to question them. Our food came at 10:00... 2 hours waiting!! For a Francesinha..?!!! Every restaurant that went through 7! Chefs in 2 months don't deserve business. I recommend zero stars for this place. Unfortunately, the new owners have no experience in attractive customers."
