"Location As an unmistakable landmark, the Bentheim Castle is the largest stronghold in northwest Germany, which shows visitors from all directions to the romantic city of Bad Bentheim and to the Fürstenhof at the foot of the castle. Ambiente In front of the Fürstenhof there is a hospitable beer garden. Inside you are surprised by the cottage army of the house. Leave all natural wood. Cosy seating areas around the large counter area. The adjacent space is a huge knight space for larger events and celebrations. Service So friendly, polite, smooth, competent and humorous we were rarely served in Westphalia. In the end, we've got a couple of june bee snaps on the house. Food The guests are literally enticed only on Saturdays by the Spanferkel specialities. The menu otherwise offers typical dishes such as crackers, stable bushes, kings, princess plates etc. As a daily dish we choose baked Camembert (7,90€ with a Klacks wild-priced berry, with 2 slices of toast bread quartered with a slice of butter and salad set. The Camembert is inside beautiful creamy and made of wonderful crispy baked. Go on with the princess court. (14,50€ A delicate but no longer juicy, as too long roasted very powerful Cordon Bleu. Panade, ham and cheese are a pleasure. There are crispy pommes and served with crispy leaf salad on fruity light dressing. Conclusion Hospitality alone sets up the crown and is worth returning here"

"Since 2013, this house has been blooming, which has recently come down as “Hotel Schulze-Berndt”. Here you will find a modern crossover of old walls, previously used elements and stylish reinterpretations. Also accessories from the large Swedish furniture store fit very well (e.g. bright lamps or in the bathroom huge toothbrush cups in the size of the flower vases. In a spacious restaurant in the dimensions of a dance hall and in the traditional Schankhaus you are served very friendly and customer-oriented. For each guest you have beautiful words and is open to a small chat or an individual desire. Ladies and gentlemen of the service are always present and know every question to answer. In the Schankhaus you sit very rustic between many wood, old city views and rear windows. The restaurant is individually chairable (which is also commonly used and hosts in the first half of the day the sensational Grafschafter breakfast buffet for incredible 10 euros: coffee and aromatic tea, fresh juices and mineral water, boiled eggs and warm agitation, various jams, fresh fruit (I had delicious strawberries and fruit salad cucumbers, various cereals, attractive sausage and cheese plates, very good. Fresh rolls, black bread and a selection of packaged rolls. The service delivers immediately if something is likely. The whole series is extremely tasty, completely fresh and is presented very appealing. Here you can also organize family celebrations or birthdays in the circle of friends, because place is really enough. The plant convinces with great cleanliness and care. In good weather you can sit outside, on the terrace, in beautiful lounge furniture. The hotel is occupied on all days, but the gastronomy is not on Sundays and Mondays. In the Schankhaus, the gentlemen of the place are happy to meet early. I was a guest on Saturday night. It is operated quickly and reliably. Really amazing: Austrian specialties in this place! The Pinzgauer Kässpätzle are huge, actually handmade (Chapeau) and are served with a welcoming extra salad that would have served me almost solo. The price of 10.90 euros is absolutely reasonable. The sprinkled from the daily menu (sahnig, full-bodied) was served with pleasantly crispy roasts. Also recommended: a creamy tomato soup with cream hood for 4.50 euros. Completely good for the little hunger and is served in a beautiful small bowl. My red wine choir tasted pleasantly strong, but the Alster got a little too sour, but it was refilled with lime without standing – and the speciality was served fine cooled. The stay in the house is very stylish in spacious rooms with baroque elements and really welcoming beds in premium width. Small Manko: The lack of elevator makes climbing the ultra-part stairs very laborious for people with disabilities. For this, the magnificent terrace in the 1st OG compensates with a wide view and especially for the sunset with a wonderful atmosphere. Here you can relax and take a sunset on a well maintained lounge mobile. Free parking is sufficient at home, even for bicycles there are parking spaces in a bicycle garage. The house has Wi-Fi and offers SKY sports transfers. Very pleasant I found in the rooms an electric kettle including coffee and teapot as well as free mineral water. A wonderfully guided house with high standard and very individual style. I definitely come back and look forward to it!"

"On the cycle path from Losser to Ochtrup is the Aarnink farm near the Bardel monastery, a riding stable with connected gastronomy. The border stone is so to speak in the garden and the focus of the visitors is Dutch. The map on the table is held in Dutch. And all service personnel are Dutch young Meisjes. But you also get German. Typically, Dutch snacks and Eet-Café dominate the map and there are cakes. Who, like me, is not on Bitterballs and Co., can make a lot of fun at pannkoeken in all variations. We only ate a kaaspannkoeken for my wife, I a bit more ambitious for the pannkoeken with apples, bacon, geitenkaas (Circum cheese) and walnuts. Both Pannkoeks are good that your majesty may be very good. Delicious. In addition, a freshly tapped Grolsch. and the tired cycling legs were again in form for the further trip. Pretty pleasant if you expect no more than a farm inn."

"Spring stops this year in Münsterland! And when the sun comes back with warmth, the Münsterland sits on the bike, the Leeze, the Fietse and the Münsterland also call the vehicle and shines through the area. They are hungry and because my wife and I were straightened without a big plan, just enjoying the sun, we were looking for a bit later lunch. I remembered that a colleague told me about the golf course restaurant in Bad Bentheim and had offered this warm kitchen on Sunday. In short, the return was still in danger, because my wife could no longer break away from two extremely cuddly and handcuffed highland cattle on a meadow, only hatched, but eventually after a lot of strings. Beef was removed from my wife's diet this afternoon. South of Bad Bentheim, on the edge of the Venn, is the golf course of the Euregio Golfclub. I've never been there, but I'm not playing golf, not even mini golf. The parking lot was full, but there was still a place for our bikes, even if the parking lot was already well filled for them. After entering we were kindly greeted and the question of a table ended with the indication that the terrace at this tournament day was reserved for active players and should have only one table in the guest room. For a meal outside it was a bit too cool, so a table in the modern and brightly decorated guest room. In addition to many guests who were obviously not golfers, my colleague had already reported that the house would enjoy a good reputation in Bad Bentheim. The number of visitors spoke for it. We took place and the cards were handed over to us. A relatively short card offered us. Grafschaft Bentheim typical with a focus on meat. A little fish, even on a daily table, not vegetarian, let alone vegan dishes. Yes, back to the roots that grow in the county, it will have difficulties with vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. A small wine card was also given to us, from her a giant from the Moselle. Wines from Mr Molitor from Weal are always fun! Sharing a flame cake for both of us. The soil is certainly convincing, but freshly occupied because the onions were partly almost raw. Also not so beautiful that on the classic flame cake was also cheese. For me there are only onions, bacon and sour cream, which is enough. With cheese this is a thick satt manufacturer who was too much of the good, especially as an appetizer. Well, that we had selected both fish for the main course, for us both salmon nominated here as Fjordlachs. Where else will he come from? The nets don't go to the free sea. With lobster sauce from the daily menu for my wife and with lemon sauce and spinach from the solid card for me The sauces were tasty, both my lemon sauce, on the basis of a flour sweat with fish food, as well as the lobster sauce of my wife, with the aroma certainly coming from a lobster paste. Both salmon fillets were stabbed or damped, and thus completely through, not dry, but personally I prefer a roasted, roasted starom with a beautifully glazed core. But I admit that the guest group there in the restaurant probably doesn't want it. Both plates were accompanied by delicious roasted potato halves, and a salad plate for both of us stood between us. It wasn't much to criticize for his preparation. A good Vinaigrette was on it, Rucola gave a small taste by Bitter. The two poor winter tomato slices went to the side. For a dessert it was no longer enough, see flame cake. So a good espresso and we have closed our lunch at the restaurant Termühlen. The ladies and gentlemen in service dominated your job and gave little reason to criticise it, which was very neat. It is also a good conclusion for the kitchen performance. Meat can take the kitchen that I took on our neighboring tables, the portions were large and also good after appearance. In the county of Bentheim you need to make sure that you do not come too exotic as a cook and taste to the customer. This is being observed here, but I would have liked a little more creativity. Especially as there are people in the county who are pesceters, vegetarians and vegans. You better go somewhere else. But where? Ordinary country kitchen to which you can return if it is not about people. Or, suggestion of my wife, a vegetarian flame cake on the terrace with a bottle of Taittinger (we are in a golf club)."
