"Unfortunately, as so often the quality after a certain time leaves. The place right at the entrance was very cold. Unfortunately, this was not possible on request if we can change the place. The restaurant was not completely occupied and there were plenty of free places. The frying potatoes for onion rust roast were almost cold and the supplement salad was rather a dessert salad. We simply forgot the dessert. Hopefully it was just the form of the day. However, our next time will only take place in doubt."

"A few days you need a light look – especially if the sun doesn't want to get out, a cold is wide and you lose the boulevard. Today is such a day. Here I draw my three friends and co-players spontaneously (announced other food plans into the “light work” where I always wanted to return. The strange opening hours have prevented me from doing so: Tuesday to Thursday, from 11 am to 3 pm. Hopefully it's still expandable? Because the need for this location is immense. The “Lightwork” is located in the well visited industrial area Hulb in Böblingen, in the immediate vicinity of: Dehner, ATU, Danish bed camp, Fressnapf, a construction market, a sanitary wholesale trade, a huge furniture store and much more. Locals are more shortages here. What the “lighthouse” writes on his homepage: “With freshly cooked lunch dishes daily, homemade cakes and more, it is aimed at all who work at the Hulb, shop or just come by. This project is intended to create a place to refuel and feel good in the middle of the Hulb.” That's done! There are many parking spaces right in front of the front door – nobody can go here! The premises are spacious, friendly and open, modern furnishings and very neat. Since everything can be achieved at one level, accessibility is not a problem. What is not expected here in the industrial area: Back there is a really quiet, inviting guest garden – quite green and even contemplative. There we take place spontaneously on wooden chairs on wooden tables under large parasols (which would not have been needed today... Some lounge furniture invite you to hang around, but are already occupied. The “Lighthouse” as a café is a false understatement. It is natural: restaurant, bistro, lounge bar, living room, canteen, meeting point, resting place. With self-service and limited offer. However made with love and commitment. Probably there is a lot of honor in the game. That makes it so sympathetic. With a daily changing lunch table (once loaded with meat, sometimes vegetarian, freshly prepared soups in three serving sizes and homemade cakes, with different salad variations, musts and desserts – and of course a reasonable selection of drinks, especially with many coffee specialities. Self-service is recommended. No problem. You get everything on the open, invitingly designed counter in the middle of the room. Salads and cakes can be seen in a shop window. Drinks and food are praised on hand-written calligraphs. There is a lot of choice when we arrive at 13:00. We choose: 2x mullets with potato salad (7.50 Euro, 1x colourful salad bowl with goat cheese, walnuts and grapes (7.50 Euro), 1x lunch (7.80 Euro: pork comb with salt potatoes and herbal butter). The mules are hearty and homemade, but the potato salad should have been a bit more soothing and crucible. Wonderful: sauce with peeled onions. Lunch is a little thirsty and the potatoes would have done a little more cooking time. Without a tadel, the salad to which you can choose balsamicodressing or cream dressing. There are also three slices of Baguette. We all get a voucher: to a piece of cake there is a coffee specialty for free. It is possible to come back for the next visit... We already test the coffee without addition – unfortunately it tastes fad and a bit after the rinsing water. Maybe we should follow the recommendations of the Thekendame (self-made iced tea? However, the service is pleasant and friendly, very striving and friendly. The ambience has style and offers tranquility, relaxation. For employees of the surrounding companies, this can be a corresponding canteen replacement. Inside, some children do homework – for them the place is probably family replacement. I want to come back when I'm on site. The food offer calls me. This week is offered as a lunch table (under 8 Euro: chicken breast fillet with mozzarella baked lentils and hints with saite sausage meat vegetarian vegetable skating pig comb (see above)."

"In Böblingen, Thomas and Tanja Heiling run two locals that are more than justifiable to the demands of regional, creative and fresh cuisine and have been certified both for the association of the Heckengäu Church and the Schönbuch Church and for “Schmeck-den-Süd”. In the main house “Paladion” I am often in the quarter with friends or relatives to enjoy the grandiose, always changing and absolutely versatile lunch buffet with regional specialties and a pottery salad buffet. I don't know anyone who doesn't find anything right here. Sad only (but understandable that Monday's rest day is. For some time, however, on 7 days a week, the Heilings also operate the “Thermini” in the most popular Böblinger Therme, known beyond the circles. It is similar to the “Paladion”, with the best transport connection – located near the A81 motorway exit and only a 10-minute walk from the S-Bahn stop, with a bus stop close to the front door and very close to the Böblingen-Stuttgart cycling path. The fact that the thermal bath visitors are blessed is clear. But the “Thermini” is a public restaurant and can be entered by anyone. A lot of free parking is also available, but on popular days like bridge days or holidays you have to get up early to get a free space. Cooperation with regional producers is truly formal and is always open. Why should we go to the distance if the Ländle can offer such a variety of attractive products? Carnivores, fish lovers and vegetarians are equally happy. In addition, the “Thermini” offers a bright, light ambience with small two- and four-seater tables made of light wood, white tablecloths, friendly table decorations and interesting views. This year, the “Thermini” also has a dependence during the popular “sleeping at the lake” event, changes from the view of the thermal bath at the bottom of the lake (a natural lake that hardly knows!). To me, the thunder is usually too dolle, but today I am driving the best summer weather and an empty fridge right into the catches of the big event. In addition to all the self-service stands, the “Thermini” with a shaded yet well maintained ambience (white tablecloths, 1a cleanliness, lots of herbal pots as decoration and dedicated operation at the table. The menu is evaporated to some hits and not as extensive as in the thermal bath, but still highly attractive and also not overpriced. The impressive home castle for 9,00 Euro with Patty from the Albrind, Landrauchschinken and Pflücksalat – on request with additional frits, which are called very sympathetic potato buds here. The pot dumplings also look great with berry ragout and vanilla ice, which probably has the nutritional value of a main course and is gouted at the side table by two seniors with glassy eyes and half senses before enjoyment (tastefully nothing for me, but visually an eyewitness). I myself choose a Schmeck-den-Süd-Bowl (the current Bowl-Hype I can't share, but the part does what and hopefully does not seem too powerful to me in view of the evening event that I still gave for 11.50 euros. In a voluminous bread bowl are located: salmon trout from the Echaztal trout breeding in Honau (about 500 meters from the Echazquelle , a strand of acidic trout, Demeter goat cheese from pleasantly creamy texture, abundant baby spinat leaves and pickles, superfluous chia seeds, crunchy nuts and soaps. It's so puffy that I'm afraid for dinner. I'm sorry. In service, three most beloved blood-young girls act, but they have thick stuff for professionalism. I feel all the way caresed and attentively served and just worn on hands. Only in the end it's a little bit at paying. For a very long time, I have to wait for the super service girl with the big wallet, which has to pay off a large order at the neighboring table. Her colleagues, however, comforted me the best and are full of attention and concentration with me. Cleanliness is also noticeable. In the meantime, the table arrangements are refocused, the white tablecloths are brought into the lot and perfectly staged. No one is stressed. Super organization! Best notes for an ambitious yet wonderfully relaxed kitchen and service team. While others are looking for staff, the healings seem to offer optimal working conditions."

"Just a few weeks after the opening, the Raisch in the district of Böblinger Diezenhalde has taken over a firm function – as a meeting point, second living room, popular café, space for a common breakfast or lunch. After long years of open positions, you're wondering what was before? Especially on the market days, the Raisch is so heavily frequented that the human loops waiting at the inlet reach the place. It will be a difficult exercise. So, great praise for the family business originally from the Black Forest village Calw, which has assumed this long empty place. In its function as bakery, pastries and cafe, it offers a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and cakes. In addition, there are snacks, sandwiches, finger food, salads, snacks (such as bread chips with Parmesan and Alpirsbacher beer) and the very coveted lunch table, which must be ordered on the previous day for reasons of capacity. I have tried the offer several times and I am thrilled, especially because of the rich portions, the very favorable prices and the hearty handle of the cook to give a strong wort and enormous sauce volume. The consistently moderate prices range from 8 to 9 euros, meals are usually meat-laden (maul bags with a large number of brushes, carvings in all forms, burgers, sprinklers, goulash – on Friday, but regular fish), many supplements and almost always a versatile salad. Raisch is located on the ground floor of a high-rise building, close to places of daily need such as supermarket, bank, pharmacy, doctors, physiotherapy. Bus stops and free parking are in front of the front door. Both the guest room and the spacious toilets are located on one level and are therefore easily accessible for mobility restrictions or persons with strollers. It is the ideal place to return after purchase, market visits or deliveries. I hope that the large space in front of the house can be played in the summer and a covered terrace is allowed. That would certainly be a profit for the entire neighborhood!"

On a Saturday at 11 a.m. in the morning there is still a flaute and we are also immediately noticed and greeted. We choose a shaded table at the rear end of the terrace, so comprehensively protected by an impressive awning that you are amazed that this is still considered an outdoor area. We choose two different egg dishes: the omelet of 3 eggs, filled with feta cheese and tomatoes (7.50 euros), as well as 3 eggs (5.80 euros) with additional mushrooms as topping (1.50 euros). To this end, slightly toasted semi-finished rolls and butter are added. Both tastes great and lets you close on riiiiie's eggs – or you have beaten us a few more into the pan. Best quality, with not too much fat fried. After that we are so surprised that no hunger will occur until the evening at the day. So recommended for tough tennis players and hikers who still have a day's march. Cappuccino (2.80 Euros) and coffee (2.50 Euros – on my request with extra milk, additionally in a small glass) taste excellent, but we would like to have larger portions here. Initially, we are served by the buoyant patron himself, who later is so busy that the bill must be transferred by an employee. A little difficulty is our desire for a pepper mill, since it seems that there is no traceable for the quick. A salt mill and a conventional pepper shaker are already on every table. Convinced by quality and ambience, we would like to come back soon to try out some of the dishes. Breakfast is definitely wonderful. The restaurant can be reached by car (free parking in front of the door), by the Schönbuchbahn or by bus (plus a short walk), by foot or by bike. The terrace and the interior are, if I remember, barrier-free. Only the toilets are in the basement."
