"Vacationing in East Boothbay we drove by this place several times before deciding to give it a try. The set-up is basically a bar, a food truck and some tables set up on pier overlooking a boatyard, marina and the Damariscotta river. While we waited for 45 minutes for our fried clams and lobster roll we were dismayed to see that people who ordered similar items after us were getting their food first. Looking around, we noticed that a lot of patrons seemed to know each other, perhaps locals or marina employees. This place has a lot of potential as the view and ambiance are very unique, but it unfortunate that it does not feel more welcoming to tourists."

"OMG. I have never had a breakfast this amazing in a while. Portions are good. Food tasted even better. I had the biscuits and gravy and my girlfriend had the French Toast. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Will definitely have a return visit."

"We had an amazing experience dining at Harborside 1901. The food was incredible. The staff was super friendly. The timing of the food was on point. I wish I was hungry enough to try every item on the menu. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boothbay. Easily the best restaurant we had while our 1 month your through Maine. Honestly it could be the best restaurant I have ever been to in general. Go with confidence that you will be leaving overly satisfied!"

"Wow. Just stopped in at this place to eat. It’s a seat-yourself kind of place. There was a four-top table (with five chairs) that had just been emptied, and an empty two-top available right next to it. We asked the girl clearing the table if we could put them together after she was finished, since we had six in our party. She mumbled something we couldn’t understand, and then said something to another employee who walked by, then left the area. So then we asked the lady who was left the same question. She proceeded to tell us that they don’t do that and that the most they seat is five…and then she walked away and left us standing there."
