"If you are in the mood for a cheap breakfast (less than 8 dollars for a breakfast sandwich, domestic frits and a coffee) and it is between 7 a.m. and 2 a.m., don't look further than the humble Van's Spa. This restaurant, run by the legendary Manny, is also a local “tee” and entertainment spot as it is affordable breakfast place. Always a great experience, and when you see the menu, you will say “Wow!” too!"

"We found this place as we were looking for a surprised addition to our lunch picnic at our bike stop on East Bay Bike Path. That was a very pleasantly surprised. Their pot pie might be the best pot pie we have ever had. The pastry was very light and flaky, and the filling was very creamy and tasty."

"Nellos is consistently the best convenience food in the East Bay. My guess would be Jarren did something horrible in a former life and was punished through the only bad meal to originate from Nellos in the decade or so since he's been gifting deliciousness to our community. The pizza and calzones are the best in the area and it's really not even close. The plain chicken wings are a secret delight. The buffalo chicken tenders have a great kick. The salads are solid. The best sandwich is the chourico, chips, sauce and cheese! (Boom!) The chicken parm dinner with ziti is a favorite. The pasta does tend to be on the cooked side consistent with convenience entrees that sell for $9. If you're looking for a date night splurge, this is not the place. If you're looking for a full menu of unerring treats call Nellos. Or don't... it'd be your loss so what do I care? P.S. click "like" if you think Jarren is a clown."

"Big little place I never noticed after an open house visit to Bristol we stopped for breakfast. Your omeletts are good, the breakfast cakes needed salt and after adding that I liked them much better. Your chourico hash was so good that we ordered a second side plate. Try it."
