"Nice quaint restaurant by the dam. Lovely outdoor patio under canopy of trees. Limited selection on menu for lacto-vegetarians but waiter made a plan and we enjoyed lovely fresh food (aside from the chips- which must've been from the day before). Good starters and decent veg platter. Nice drive from JHB and escape from hustle and bustle of the city."

"Siesta Tapas Bar and Bistro is a hidden gem tucked away in Harties. The food is excellent and mouth-watering. The venue is quite and cozy and perfect for a larger gathering inside. The service was good but not the fastest or friendliest yet pleasant. (thus the 4 stars) I would recommend Siesta Tapas if you can get a spot inside especially during winter."

"I just had the most amazing spinach and feta pancake at this restaurant. the service is awesome and the venue is so beautiful. it's a great place for a family to eat shop and browse the markets. I highly recommend it here"

"Was really looking forward the day but it was sadly a very bad experience. Although the vibe was quite nice, the music was very loud making lunch conversation a challenge. Our waitress was lovely but the service was terribly slow. The food arrived cold and was not very nice (I had the oxtail potjie) and well over an hour after placing our order. There was absolutely no value for money given the food quality. We also had three sets of people coming to either sell us something, raise money for a cause and a bachelor on a fund raising challenge. Not something I personally enjoyed at all. Hope they take this review to heart and make some changes because there is definitely potential. "What a stunning place. By appointment only and served by the chef and his partner. Food is exquisite and the chef generally plays piano during desert. I highly recommend it!"

"Apart from the best pizza base we've experienced, and exceptional pizza, the service was amazing, our waiter Bongi was so very helpful with our dietary restrictions and accommodating us. The food was great value and quality for money and they gave us complimentary avos, which was such a nice touch. I must mention how incredibly friendly and helpful the manager, Jaendre, was. He went above and beyond to advise us on activities and attractions in the area. We will most definitely be returning, such a beautiful meal and experience."
