"The load was closed although my reservation was approved and online stood also that it opened. on the door, however, they only opened from time to time. I drove from knittlingen to bruchsal and that for nothing. I am very disappointed"

"We go there with friends and family in winter to enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the inner, and in summer they relax in the beautiful beer garden. Meals and drinks are cheap, but big and great. delicious huge salads, cheeses (cheese peppers), carvings and much more....A highly recommended place in the breaks!"

"The food was good. The entry staff could be a little more friendly. To welcome is not so beautiful. At first we didn't know if the employee was in another conversation or spoke to us. When we were asked, we were told that we could order."

"Eat came 20min later, but was still hot, so fresh. Unfortunately, the salamipizzen were very dark and it was hardly salami, for too much cheese on it. the barley dishes were unfortunately very faded. all in all no great experience."

"I remember the 'Zum Engel' from my days when I was a lot younger than today and the restaurant then was good for some stomach filling square meals or good for a 'Vesper' when they had freshly made liver pate on offer.Today has the ambience changed as has the menu but the bias on Italian food can only be commended. Great tasting food, well presented and by the look of it every last table was occupied with some guests waiting even for a second sitting. Family affair lunch and it was a good choice of restaurant. Will very likely return again before I leave in a few weeks back to Africa and, once the weather improves, also try the outside sitting next to the small stream called 'Saalbach' which runs just alongside the garden section."

"Grombach suben is a very nice restaurant with great food, friendly staff and a great location. also with a beautiful beer garden to sit outside in the spring, summer, autumn. a very different place and a great recommendation!"
