"Unbelievably poor service. We were being seated when we asked about an open table in the shade. Rather than simply telling us politely that it wasn 't available which would have been fine the waiter started a tirade about how (abridged) they get 1000 people passing through every hour and that they needed to save the tables for... at which point we had to tell him we didn 't really need to hear more. So we left before we even sat down. Now we 're two door up at the hotel on the corner having a nice meal, served by a nice waiter. Do yourself a favour and walk through this place."

"Just next door to all the super-touristy places, this little gem is down to earth and fantastic. The service was excellent, and the Old Bruges Cheese and Crackers was perfect. Also a great cocktail selection and some quality Belgian beers. Absolutely worth choosing over some of the other spots nearby."

"Was here with a friend for lunch. We had a nice light lunch. Had to ask about vegan options, as there are none mentioned standardly on the menu. Soup of the day, bagel with guacamole and a piece of oreocake (from The Green Clean Bakery vegan catering). Nice. And all in all good value for money (considering prices in Bruges). "We wanted to have lobster close to our hotel, thus visited this restaurant. I ordered grilled lobster with garlic butter, the taste is good in general, but the tail of the lobster is a bit chewy, and the rice that came together is undercooked. I would recommend the visitors to try out the boiled option. They gave small shrimps as starters, it's tasteless and a bit of hussle to peel off the shell. The waiters are okay-friendly, but can be better for a restaurant of this price."
