"Wow, when this place first opened we were like this good eats. No problem paying 20$ for a top notch artisan pizza. As time went on the toppings began to yield in the opposite direction. After a few months the toppings had hit the middle of the pizza, basically paying for crust and bread. I mean come on. I cant tell you how many people I know stopped buying your pies. Talk about taking advantage. You need to check out Cuckoo in Coombs or Riso in Lantzville to see how its done right."

"When I lived in Courtenay this was our go to restaurant for breakfast. My favourite is the bennies with bacon and tomato. The hollandaise sauce is homemade and its served with fresh pan fried potatoes and fruit. On recent visit back to Courtenay this place was on my list and the food did not disappoint."

"Wow! We had the vegan enchiladas absolutely delicious and so flavorful! Please please check this place out if you?re vegan you won?t be disappointed especially with the enchiladas! Please offer and make more vegan food because you guys are so good at it!"

"We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child (seven years old). Our child loved the chicken strips and fries. I had a veggie burger which was homemade and good. Our server was so so and that's why I give it an average rating. We will try it again. I don't think you can judge by one experience."

"Been here twice and for a reason. I know it’s more of a upscale restaurant so I expected it to be more on the expensive side, and no surprise it was. The decor was fabulous and would be great for a business meal but the waitress I had (both times) was almost rushing us. I felt that was rude.. but the meal was great!! The steak was well cooked just the way I liked (medium rare) and the salad had a odd flavour but was really good!"

"We ordered in three large Pizzas. With tax and tip it was 90 plus dollars. A bit pricey but very good. Islander Pizza is always excellent. Fresh ingredients and lots of them. We have tried them all, but ordering in Islander is hard to beat."
