"We chose Victor Victoria because of the good reviews and since it was close to our hostel. However it seems we didn 't catch a good day. First, the ceviche advertised outside were crossed out on the menu inside. So I chose trout in orange juice...and my girlfriend a starter, papas huancainas. The bread we got as accomplishment was old and dry. The main dishes came after some twenty minutes and right after we had heard the beep of a microwave. Both portions were generous but as for my trout the flavors didn 't really combine. I 've had way better ones in Peru, already. The waitress who was not too enthusiastic didn 't tell me that I could chose a salad from the buffet. But it I had read the menu fairly well, so I went to get some. Unfortunately, the salads had been lying around all day and looked their age. The taste was accordingly. The bill was okay for a tourist spot (42 /S for two people incl. two drinks). However, on the way out a cockroach ran across the floor so we hurried to leave this place."

"Baco is a nice and comfy restaurant in Cusco, conveniently located across the street of JW Marriot Hotels. Service and food were good! My friend and I ordered chicken pasta (reasonable price). It is sister of well known Cicciolina restaurant."

"Sulla scorta delle ottime recensioni abbiamo prenotato con una coppia di amici, desiderosi di assaggiare la vera cucina peruviana. Abbiamo ordinato del pollo arrosto ed è arrivato un petto di pollo con riso in bianco e verdura lessa, degno di un pasto da ospedale. L'altro secondo era un bollito di maiale: carne dura e cipolle quasi crude. Non si pretende uno spezzatino e meno che mai un brasato ma quanto meno che gli ingredienti ed i sapori siano ben amalgamati attraverso una cottura adeguata. L'ultimo secondo ordinato era il famoso arrosto di alpaca e quando lo abbiamo ordinato il cameriere non si è curato di chiedere il grado di cottura. Risultato: è arrivato un pezzo quasi crudo che per un terzo è stato lasciato nel piatto. Abbiamo chiesto la lista dei dolci sperando di rifarci col famoso torrone ed il cameriere ci ha indicato sulla lista l'ultimo dolce rimasto: il gelato, solo un gusto! Da notare che avevamo prenotato ed il locale non era pieno. La serata l'abbiamo conclusa in un altro locale davanti a dei bei piatti di dolci. Mai più!"
