"This place is INCREDIBLE! We are driving from Seattle, WA to Massachusetts through Canada and this is the best place we have eaten at. We were starving after a long day of driving and had their Mediterranean wraps and poutine. The staff is super friendly and kind; very attentive. They were genuinely happy to take care of us. Total sleeper of a gem! 10/10 recommend"

"We spent a lovely evening in this cosy tavern and first enjoyed a good beer at the bar (a light 'Farmer's Daughter and the darker lokal brew). The food is amazing. We had Polish sausages and a 'Kashub Burger' - everything fresh and well made. The Poles in our group agreed: like home!Service was great, quick and friendly. We'd like to come back."

"We have been at the local Subway twice in the last two weeks. The first time we took a footlong roast chicken sub on grain wheat to split between us at home. We found the sandwich excellent. Today we took a footlong Beef Melt to...split between us and ate it in the restaurant. This being 2 PM on the Canadian Thanksgiving we found the place to be very busy. I have seen complaints in this column from people feeling too rushed in getting their service here today was very rushed and they had 4 people on the counter splitting the assembly work BUT if they had gone any slower in today 's rush then these same people would be complaining that the service took too long. The staff were doing a great job of handling the crowd. The sandwich was excellent. We had coffee today and I noted that it was individually prepared using a commercial model of Keurig coffee maker. Unfortunately the particular model they are using is just not capable of cycling the coffee fast enough and I ended up waiting too long to get the second cup of our order. As expected with Keurig, the coffee was great. I had the unfortunate need to use the men 's washroom facility today. I highly recommend that you plan to stop somewhere else for that purpose if at all possible since the washroom, which is shared with both the gas station and the tattoo parlour that are in the same building, was in a condition that left me amazed that the health inspector would give it a passing grade. The food is great, the service is fast and friendly, the prices are reasonable and they always seem to have some kind of off hour special for those on a budget who can meet their promotional schedule. "Stopped in on the way through town looking for an authentic diner experience which is exactly what we got. Service was diner paced, slow, because this is an owner operator run place with minimal staff. Don't stop here if you're in a rush. Remember this is an experience. We had classic diner meals, club house, cheese burger and a hot roast beef sandwich all with fries coffee or soft drinks. Food was good, hot, straight forward fare; what the weight conscious call comfort food, the rest of us call it lunch. Coffee was good. Cream at 10% not 18% so some concern from the coffee savvy folks.Pop came in the can not from a fountain. Overall a worth while hour. I'd give Tracy a 3.5 but can only give whole numbers on my phone. Finally, in true diner fashion we actually conversed through lunch as opposed to staring at our phones."

"I am a frequent visitor to Chalk River usually three or four times a year. When in the area, I never miss an opportunity to stop at Mr. Hotdog. Mt stops are in the daytime and I am looking for a place that has a luncheon menu not a full restaurant stop.I find their food be of the highest quality, well priced, generous portions and served by courteous and friendly staff. The continual expansion of their menu items always affords me different food to try.When I have completed my lunch stop, there are always clean and well stocked washrooms available. I am more than happy to recommend that anyone driving along Highway "
