"I visited the Pot before and enjoyed it ... This time years later it was a bit disappointing . Everything was great like before but the food experience wasn't this time . I'm not going to slag it off for the sake of it but more for the staff to improve as I want to keep coming there. I had the chilli chicken .... It wasn't spicy at all and it was cold . I know , I should have said but I'm not good at that ....The scampi was soggy ... And the plates were cold drives me nuts I'm guessing the kitchen were under pressure but it's more an observation rather than a criticism..."

"Form the first seconds in this lodge it was very apparent that very few of the hotel staff had been trained in hospital from the the front of house right up till what I have been told was a general manager, this lady played the host and toast master at the wedding I was attending, she was sour faced and very rude to quite a few of the guests just unacceptable behaviour, the bar staff seemed miserable and the children brought in to serve the meal just weren't sure what they were doing ! Not their fault. The meal was of a poor standard could not describe the soup and the turkey was reheated and not very enjoyable, The only positive in the whole experance was the lady in the breakfast room she was lovely. I wish we had of went to a reputable hotel."

"My family and I ordered pizza and sides one evening and midway eating our chicken we noticed the chicken was uncooked and pizza dough was uncooked also. We rang the store and explained of the chicken being pink inside, the staff argued that they're products are pre cooked when bought and it was impossible, yet my family, partner and I seen the uncooked chicken before us. The store sent us more chicken out and a voucher to use for a free pizza and took the chicken that was uncooked away, however that voucher is well and truly binned and we will not use this store again. This is a massive risk and extremely dangerous."

"Was excited to try here but was left disappointed as the breakfast stack (two potato bread, 2 egg, half at most of an avocado and a black pudding) was small and cost £9.50. Coffee was grand but nothing special unfortunately. Wouldn’t rush back"

"What a shock when we came across the great little place.Great friendly staff and the food was lovely. All of a sudden we watched the mist cover the mountains and the rain, all from the amazing view from the dining room. This place is def worth a visit"
