"Always nice if looking for a local place to hang out. This is more of a chill around, pub place than a formal restaurant. Their chicken strips are always a favourite to snack on. I tried their pizza and it was good. Thin crust, it wasn't super crunchy but also not soggy. Oily cheese on top. I prefer my pizzas without cheddar/gouda cheese. But if you prefer your pizzas that way, you'll love it. It goes very well with a drink! Burger was good, different but good. Very rich earthy flavour from ghe cammembert cheese and mushrooms. The vibes are ALWAYS nice there. Everyone is always friendly to everyone and people won't look at you weird if yoy walk up to them and start a conversation. This is the best place to meet people! To all my shy young folks out there looking to make friends, THIS IS THE PLACE!"

"Gratitude Janine, Corné, Karien, Maret virgin miraculous serves and friendship with our afternoon that 6th Junie 2017. Ek and my ouma and my sussie. Maleen Schleider honored the Lordlik. That Chief Jean of Deeventer knows what hy does. Ek is gluten and Iactose intolerant and shelled it my so fantasy. Us that pork belly and duck, and that tuis-made pasta which was out of that finest rack, Julle 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon was unbelievable. Vir my ciene juicy accelerant again."

"Friends took me here for my Birthday... Wow. Super wine and the method club classique is out of this world. Cheese and wine pairings are superb. And the venue is very classy and romantic with gorgeous views. Definitely worthy of a visit and special occasions."

"Lovely cosy restaurant, food was superb and our waitress was friendly. Nice to chat, however the music and tv kept being turned up and we had to request a few times for it to be turned down so we could hear our fellow diners. The roosterkoek is not really roosterkoek but a bun cooked on a grill."

"It has become somewhat of a tradition to embarrass anyone in our family when they have a birthday by getting the staff of Spur to sing to them no exclusions mom, dad, granny, grandpa, brother or sister, nobody is spared! Tonight was my son's turn sharing his 13th birthday with Mandela, we once again were not disappointed. John and his sons Graeme and Arthur, run a true South African family restaurant. Good food, good value and good service."

"One of the very few 5 stars I have given! The venue and view is great. You get to sit right next to the vineyards will rolling hills behind. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. We were a table of 6 ordering 3 burgers and 3 Karoo lamb dishes. Probably the best looking burger I have ever seen think homemade pattie, lots of bacon, slice of cheese and the chips looked tasty and well seasoned. My Karoo lamb was unbelievably tender, and all the bits on the side tasted great and were presented well too. Overall you could taste and see that the food was made with care and attention. We did not have deserts, but I ordered a few as a take away for the family at home and they lived them all. Will definitely bring the family next time and a good choice for foreign visitors. BTW, there is a small shop selling interesting goodies and wine tasting next door."

"Parking is available on site. The table was not booked, it was free on the spot. But if you want by the window, with a view of the grapes, then it's better to book. The oysters were very tasty, the venison was excellent. The selection of wines is large. There is a restaurant on the second floor and a tasting room on the first floor. Prices are good, waiters are friendly. I liked the visit, I recommend it."
