"Wow! Talk about bending over backwards to help two families in need. We had made a booking months ago via booking.com for a nearby hotel however on arrival found it to be shut (that’s another story and review). At no notice whatsoever the Les Demoiselles owner and her daughter went out of their way to accommodate 9 of us. They cleaned two rooms specially for us while we went into the village for dinner. The daughter even drove out to the restaurant to double check how many of us there were, to ensure they had it correct. Apart from that fantastic customer service the rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. The village is beautiful with at least two champagne houses that we saw. The setting of the hotel is simply stunning, up on a hillside with amazing views and sunset. The village is easily walkable too taking just 10 minutes to the centre. Breakfast was simple- croissants, pain au chocolate with a choice of hams, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, Medelaines or cereal, fresh orange and coffee."

"After driving the touristique champagne trail for an hour desperate to find somewhere to stop for a drink we were so pleased to find this - lunch was 30€ for a salad, a pasta dish and two drinks so not particularly cheap but the food was fresh and delicious. Only open until 1.30 for lunch."
