"It was my first time here. The food is AWESOME! Very busy, but this place is super well run. They aren’t overwhelmed. Service didn’t suffer one bit. They turn tables quickly without making you feel rushed at all. My server, Donna, was hands down the most upbeat, attentive and exceptional server I’ve had at any restaurant in this area from riegelsville to new hope."

"Very nice, picturesque. Certainly authentic Mexican food. The food was great, the mood was nice, the bathroom was very clean and the staff is courteous and friendly. I gave him four stars because the service was very, very slow. Even if the place was half empty and there were five waiters, it was slow. Communication between employees could also be better. One of our orders was returned because it had an ingredient that a friend was allergic to after consulting the waiter. In the end, they accused us of this mission. They were nice enough to adjust the bill, but it shouldn't have been there. My friend didn't eat anything. Regardless of this, I would come back and I still recommend it."

No matter your take on the Bush years, the elite Texas oil barons know food well. In normal times, 15 Landsdowne opens a few times a month by email invitation. It’s not that it’s private, but unless you subscribe to its emails, you don’t know there’s a meal afoot.Dine once at 15 Landsdowne and sample how the elite live. This is not a Bouley, Daniel, Le Bernardin, or Le Bec Fin experience. This is a life experience to be remembered, forever. It matters not whether it’s Mia’s homemade pasta, meat sauce and meatballs, fried chicken or one of her gastronomical creations.
