"We were eating here as part of our visit to Rhön, an acquaintance had recommended us the restaurant and sent us pictures of the map, with recommendations that we should order. The restaurant is located in the Hotel Sonne and is rustic and cosy, with a lot of Nippes (you would say to us in the Rhineland). We chose a pig steak Sir Williams and the XXL Steak Golden West. Forward: The food was great. It went super fast, the Wirtin was totally nice and overall we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, after our food we were still hungry, so we have not really been fed up, something more French frites might have solved this problem. Later we found that the prices were significantly adjusted upwards (on the Internet we had still found the old price list, which I also felt appropriate), in my opinion, too much for the amount you receive. That's why we decided on another place on the second evening, even if the food was really good quality and there is nothing to complain about."

"A warm quite cosy Bakery restaurant the service was very refreshing with various cakes on a rotary display with the seasons speciality set aside for one to chose from, I had a slice of freshly made cheese cake, I also tried a “Crap” cake with...jam filling and a cup of tea, though their coffee smelt wonderful. I would recommend a visit any of these cold days as you will be really warmed up"
