"This place was about a 15 minute walk from the Glenwood Springs hotel and springs. Nice and easy to find using gps. We were promptly greeted and told to choose a seat. He took our drink orders immediately. Spoke Spanish to my wife who is Native and I answered back, he looked surprised. Lol. We got our drinks, chips, salsa and some type of shredded lettuce, tomatoes and onion with a nice dressing. I liked it, different. Wife and I both ordered 2 combination dinner; she had the Chili rellenos and shredded beef enchilada. Chili Relleno was okay, battered in sopapilla breading (didn’t like). The shredded beef was tasty and came in big chunks. Rice was tender and the whole beans was good but over-peppered. Crispy beef taco was okay; homemade shell was crisp, the meat seasoned but was different from a lot of others. Overall 2.5."

"Went there asking about vegan options and was told that the pizza crust has egg in it, the guy there said that we might be able to have the gluten-free crust but couldn't tell us what was in it (said it was made with rice or something)...he just brought one over holding it in his bare hands to show us. We didn't ask if any of the other things on the menu could be veganized, just ended up going elsewhere."

"Very very yummy! Not quite a drive in as advertised though. Expect to either drive thru or get out and order at a window. There is outside seating as well as tented in seating. 5 starts for the food, but one off for the misnomer and dirty bathrooms. The food is worth the stop."

"My friend and I came over this underground gem while we're looking for a birthday dinner, and we're so happy that we did. It just felt so cozy and welcoming. Chyna was our waitress and she did such an amazing job. The food we ordered was very delicious and full of taste. Now beside all the great things about this lil Gem is the reason for my review Pam. We had some leftovers and of course forget our box on the table. My friend and I were almost to our car (and we were not parked nearby) when we heard behind us, excuse me, you forget your box. It was the wonderful Pam who ran after us with our box. It was the most amazing and thoughtful thing we have ever experienced. Thank you for this Pam, it made our night. We can't wait to be back"

"I am a foodie and this place had some of the most unique food for me to try. Our water, John, was a phenomenal waiter! His suggestions on what to order made my experience so much better. My mom was going to order the Mac n cheese but he suggested the pierogi's which we both loved. The tempera local mushrooms with the sauce were very savory. I got the chicken liver pate which was rich, John suggested I thinly spread the liver plate thin and add more blueberry preserves because I never had liver before which greatly improved the dish. Definitely get desert! I am not one for getting dessert afterwards but the sorbet (blueberry with real mint) and salted chocolate pie blew my mind. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had."

"I was expecting more. However the seafood of all things was as good as it gets. I find that odd in the mountains of Colorado. The environment is noisy, the build out similar to a local diner than an upscale steak house. Perhaps locals do not believe this establishment to be classified as an upscale steak house? But with prices for dinner and wine such as they are, indeed it is expected to land in the upscale market. The waiter we had was over selling, and forgot to bring needed items on two separate occasions. What items? Well one needs a steak knife to eat steak. And bread was brought but no small plates to butter your broken hot delicious bread on. Crumbs all over the table. Wine, he tried to get us to buy the bottle, we said we're driving a long distance, more selling. We were not so impressed (sorry) with the two wine choices. Call us snobs if you like. But I can drink Apaothic Red all day at 8 dollars a bottle. My wife ordered the muscles and me the oysters, incredible. I mean two thumbs up. As good as anything we've had in Seattle, San Francisco, LA or San Diego. Steak? We'll it wasn't that incredible grass fed intense tasting steak we may be used to in higher end eating establishments. It was okay but for 53 dollars for the porterhouse, I was expecting to be blown away. Sorry I wasn't. Maybe I'll try other choices next time, like the fresh Fish of the day, or the kabobs? I noted that other tables that had a different waiter got their items faster, and all seemed happy with their service and meals. Maybe it is just us. Will we return? 50 50."
