"Jeroen and Janine run this establishment of the highest quality. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Their execution on food is masterfully done and you can always expect a nice surprise twist to the flavor of a dish vs what you might expect just based on description. This flare is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. It doesn 't end there however. The dishes are always a sight to behold (see photos) and I always look forward in particular to the amuses and dessert. The wine selection is solid and paired well with the menu too. Environmentally the place is quiet and has an intimate feeling, which I far prefer to the 'dining hall ' scale that some other restaurants aim for. Lastly, make sure you get the cheese."

"The atmosphere was interesting and the food tasted awesome. I wasn 't really a fan of ordering through a QR code webapp, especially at a more upscale place like this one, but the service was good overall. I also wasn 't a fan of the time limit, especially if you get the boiled bag of crab and other seafood, which takes a long time to eat."

"Great dutch place for a lunch! Cozy cafe with dense packed small tables, cheerful staff and great atmosphere. Try there a goat cheese salad with smoked chicken. Right now they doesn't have dinner menu (anymore)."

"They earn 5 starts because the personal is simply amazing! very friendly, fast, safe that they were well looked after and short maintenance. I love it when the staff really enjoys their work, they taste it in the delicious kitchen. our starter was just delicious! cheese oliven and various ham. our head was surfing and shaking and 1/2 lobster. all delicious! the oysters were very fresh. would definitely recommend this place during a visit in haarlem. beautiful interieur and beautiful seating in the open."

"We found this restaurant on a quiet street in hairy after it was recommended by a woman in the tourist office. when we were looking for a moderately favorable place that would welcome a family with teenagers. we enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere very much. they had no menu in English, but our waitress was very helpful. I would definitely return."
