"I arrived in Riddes to see a friend of a friend. I asked what to do in the area. He recommended I take the funicular into the Alps to a small town called Iserables. OMG. Almost a vertical accent. The village is tiny but amazing views. Virtually on top of the world. I ate at "Restaurant Alpes. It overhangs the cliffs and was a little unnerving. Settled into my room which was adequate, and had dinner in the restaurant. Incredible simple. I had the true Swiss fondue. I was served a hot plate with seasoned sliced new potatoes, then the waited would come by with a cart. It has a mini-spit in it with a gas jet flame. On the spit was a large wheel of cheese. He melted the cheese then flopped it on the potatoes. When you started getting low he would come by and give you more cheese. What a fun experience."

"We gingen hier eten na een zware dag skien. We waren hongerig en doodmoe. Toen we la poste binnenkwamen waande we ons in de echte Zwitserse sferen met een Italiaans tintje. De bediening was heel beleefd en erg aardig. We hebben heerlijke pizza's gegeten onder het genot van een goed glas wijn. Kortom, een uitstekende ervaring in het gezellige dorpje, La Tzoumaz."

"Hot soup on a cold day is just the thing for skiers - with or without a big chunk of cheese and bread to eat on the side or dip and melt into the soup. "Récemment repris par une famille de plusieurs générations, ils désirent marquer d'entrée leur territoire par un accueil chaleureux, une disponibilité à toute épreuve, et une carte riche.Qui plus est, que ce soient les mets au fromage traditionnels ou les plats de viande l'assiette est gustative.La terrasse panoramique, certes au bord de la route, offre quiétude et repos.Les enfants sont gâtés par des jeux bien situés, loin des tables mais sous contrôle visuel, et à table des nuggets frites parfaitement réussis.Ce jour, le paiement électronique ne marchait pas encore mais en voie de réalisation.Pas de wifi par contre"
