"We hired Renato to host a pasta-making class for the family as a Christmas present and it was an absolute hit! Everyone from Grandpa to the younger cousins were invested and following every word to a T. He made it such a fun environment and everyone left full and wanting to learn more.I cannot recommend Renato enough!! All the food was fantastic, we were shocked that we managed to do so well but his guidance and coaching made it a breeze!"

"Lovely selection of food trucks. When I visited on a Saturday evening, 7 of 9 carts were open. Parking here SUUUUUUCKS. You either have to get lucky with a street spot on very busy Tacoma or the very packed neighborhood, or you have to be willing to risk a tow from New Seasons nearby. I'll let you guess what I did... I ordered for 4 adults and 2 kids takeout from 3 places to take home. Total was $91 including tips. Taste of Casablanca Lamb plate Lamb Gyro Lamb Gyro Salad Overall yummy and decent portions. We weren't fans of the beet salad though. Sauc'd Bechamel and cheese Pretty expensive for the portion. Nice creamy sauce. Rasa Beef Birria tacos Chorizo dumplings Yummy tacos, but there should be 3 of them. The dumplings were so lovely and the cream sauce divine."

"So had dinner here tonight for my birthday. Ate at this restaurant when it was on Fremont. It IS NOT the same. Ordered the Caramelized onion and pear tart to start. Very good. Tried to order the Kir from the drink menu. No cassis ... tried to order coffee no coffee. Had the 6oz Ribeye with Potatoes Anna. Toughest thing I ever tried to eat. Hammered on the outside raw inside. Potatoes burnt black on top. Not crisp BURNT. I politely told the waiter how bad it was and he said wow that is raw would you like another. I declined after I saw the cook come out and tell the waiter and the other woman working there to throw a bunch of towels down on the floor by the spill by the bus tub. My date had the trout en papillote. Complete mush inside. Dessert my date had a Fallen Chocolate Soufflé was more akin to the dominos version. I had Pear Cobbler. Was like a bisquick cake with pear topping and a drizzle of honey. Was really a shocker for us for a place that used to be spectacular. Also when you walk in there is a bus tub station full of dirty dishes and water. Right next to the bar and few tables. Just a mess all around. When the waiter brought our check he said to me I could not comp your meal but I took off the few glasses of wine . I didn 't asked to be compensated but the wine was still on the bill. Just paid and left. Won 't go back but I hope this place can pull it back together. Such a disappointment."

"THE best spot for authentic Brazilian style breakfast or brunch in the entire Pacific Northwest!There is a small Brazilian bakery in the interior of São Paulo that’s a favorite of my wife and I, and we often lament that we need to get on an 18+ hour plane ride to enjoy their food. Not anymore. Favela’s latest menu has literally everything we miss about Brazilian breakfast eats: Pão na chapa, amazing Mixto Quente hot sandwiches, and of course, Brazilian Cheese Bread, aka Pão de queijo!The people are friendly and the food is delicious. This is one spot you won’t mind spending a lazy Saturday morning, sipping a coffee and letting some Brazilian tunes take the edge of the week. Valeu!"

"Excellent meal fresh ingredients, seasoned to perfection, just the right portion sizes. Clean dining room with generous space between tables. Tried nachos and carnitas tacos. Fast cook probably especially due to coming at a not so busy time of day. Warm, friendly, and attentive service. Seems like a family business, which for me are always the best. Definitely a keeper!"

"This place is open!! I stopped by yesterday for a quick coffee and ending up getting a delicious latte. Had a fun conversation with the owner, who is making her cafe into a great place by day and night. I believe she just applied or just received her liquor license (I can't remember exactly) and will be serving up some cocktails soon. They also serve food! It's a small place but great for couples heading or coming from the timbers game."
