"L'Orme Rond est l'un des restaurants d'application de l'école de gastronomie Ferrandi Paris et après y avoir dîné trois fois avec des amis nous ne tarissons pas d'éloge sur tous les critères qui font d'un restaurant un excellent lieu gastronomique au environs de Versailles. Nous conseillons d'y aller le soir car le service en bonne et due forme est effectué par des élèves en fin d'étude. Le menu est limité à deux choix tant pour l'entrée, le plat principal que pour le dessert + fromages variés. Tout a été excellent comme pour les deux fois précédentes. Nous avons noté les points suivants entre 8 et 9 sur 10: situation de l'établissement, l'accueil affable, terrasse et salle à manger agréable (tables rondes de 1,60 m pour 6 pers.), service excellent, cuisine de haut niveau et boissons parfaites; rapport qualité/prix évidemment très bon. Stationnement privé à proximité et gratuit. Réservation obligatoire pour le dîner (il faut parfois attendre un mois!). Félicitation aux élèves et à l'encadrement!"

"Nous avons apprécié le calme de cette jolie terrasse, le personnel attentionné et le repas très bon.La pierrade avec une très bonne viande de bœuf marinée, des frites maison et de la mayonnaise excellente fut un délice. Et on avait pris aussi des gambas plancha avec des tagliatelles étaient très bonnes. Merci pour cet agréable dîner."

"The application restaurant allows students at TECOMAH school to put into practice the knowledge they acquire during their courses. The kitchen, the service and the bar are therefore held by students, who will give them the best, under the wise gaze of their teachers. Anyone can use it as a guinea pig. As I went there as part of a professional lunch, I had not to take care of the reservation, but apparently we have to go there long in advance. Indeed, we eat well, and for cheap, it seems to me (35€ . The menu is unique. I didn't take a photo, but for us it was: Egg poached on the crushed potato (simple but very well prepared Cabillaud with the dieppoise accompanied by rice (well prepared as well, although a more elaborate accompaniment would have been appreciated Tarte cheese plate with the meringue lemon (on the other hand, cooking problem of the dough that was all hard Café gourmand In terms of service, students take care of you. It's almost comic. Another interesting thing: teachers are almost transparent, and it's nice. I imagine it may be awkward to be near a pupil rising up his shoulders by his teacher because he did evil or manip by doing the service. And no, they pass fast, whispered what they had to tell the person concerned, and leave as fast."
