"If you are any where near the Country Tavern and you are not a vegetarian you definitely should stop in. This is some of the best barbecue around and is worth a drive. I live in Minnesota and no matter how good the barbecue is, it's not worth the drive from Minneapolis BUT I am originally from Texas and my mom and dad grew up in East Texas not far from the location of the Country Tavern and when I visited them we always made the trip. The divey ambience goes perfectly with the food. I would advise trying the ribs, brisket, and sausage. After finishing of a serving of these I don't have room for anything else. I have eaten a lot of southern style barbecue pork in the Carolinas and I am probably prejudiced but in my opinion nothing compares to authentic Texas barbecue. I wish I had some right now. Go there and remember YOLO"

"It was AWFUL. We ordered 2 chili cheese dogs one no onions one all the way. Did great on holding the onions,taco salad,and 2 kids meals. Big order yes got everything right. Which was awesome until my mom and husband ate the hot dogs. The weenie was ice cold. Called and was told they MICROWAVE the hot dog. Ok not cool but sure,I know many fast food restaurants use em,except the manager acted like I was over reacting when the chili was so cold it didn't even melt the cheese. At all then they forgot our milkshake ok still no big deal at all however when we did get it the ice cream was so runny it was like it was left beside the stove. The manager We spoke with acted like it was a inconvenience to her that we called in to say anything. My taco salad was ok,only complaint I really have is that there wasn't enough meat it was such a then layer I should have ordered a regular salad,instead of spending 8 bucks on basically a salad in a shell.she could have at least offered to remake the hotdogs instead she wanted to argue I will NEVER EVER spend another penny and anyone I know personally which is a BIG majority of kilgore,will not go there. Biggest disappointment for the dairy queen franchise.and in total we spent 40 bucks for one of the most disappointing meals I've personally ever had. I just can't imagine whoever owns this location is going to happy seeing these reviews be more involved or I foresee a early close down. Been here 3 times and something has been messed up,forget,or just straight neglected to be done or corrected. Not happy at all,but I had to give 1 star to really leave my experience. Absolutely disappointed. Maybe give this one to the same people whom own Lakeports dairy queen. And I have left many reviews on many places and I give my honest opinion."

"First I was skeptical, more like stoned, how could a pizza be as much different than the rest? then I tried peddlers. if paula dean pizza were cooked, so it would taste. if tom brady were in the pizza shop, he would own peddler. the combination of sauce, cheese and topping ratio came unmatched. a bite fireworks. I knew at that time and I would never eat another pizza. I drive both away in snow up for this juicy concoction of the Italian east texas rest. this pizza saved my life and it will save yours too. when they mention that colton and jordan have sent them and they will be treated like a royal treatment. I swear, the owner must sell his soul to the devil for such a masterpiece. thanks peddlers pizza!"

"My cousin had recommended this place and I stayed open because I've never been to a Mexican restaurant and I was definitely impressed. The decor was on the spot. The first thing I tried was chips with salsa. When I told you that Salsa delish was, it was indeed! I love the little kick of spices and taste. It's different than any salsa I've ever had. Could say it was homemade! To drink I had a raspberry ice tea and it came in a large cup that you would think of beer lol in the cartoons and movies. For lunch I had the Enchilada Supreme Special, that was the Enchilada, the rice, and a salad that had sour cream on it. Very authentic. Speaking authentic, my cousin had a steak with the vegetables and as a side there was rice, salad and delicious corn with cheese. The beans were rich and creamy and I really enjoyed that too. I would recommend this place to visit the NY in search of real Mexican food. I'm planning to go back to my birthday, on the 25th. March is! Thanks Las Brasas Grill!"

"We enjoy eating at this Mazzios. Salad bar is fresh and they have pasta. Variety of fresh pizza or make your own. It's a small place and gets a lil busy at times. The employees are super friendly which has kept us as customers."
