"The personal did not understand the word vegan, but no problem in it. only believed fried mixed vegetables, but food had no taste at all, and portion size was really small. felt as if it were done at all without motivation."

"We visited a couple of years previously and were pleased to see this place hasn’t changed. Lovely outdoor atmosphere, run by a kind family and mosquito spray available which is a bonus. We came at the start of the quiet season when lots of places were closed but this one was open, and very welcoming. Prices are good and the variety of food is good too lots for vegetarians and all tasty. Recommended."

"Beautiful and clean restaurant with fast service. the entire vegetarian side of the menu has been estimated. we had a bit of a problem to confirm that the temperaroll was freezing. our waitress assured us that the diligent was actually ice-free, so we believed her. a lot to our desmay came the tempera roll with a Mayo puzzle (not specified in the menu). We threw up the problem and asked if there was a mayo, consulted the kitchen staff and came back and said no ei. we were suspicious and stopped it when we imagined what to do. 1 min later she came back and said: it was definitiw ei in and took it back and they made us the roll without mayo again. could best be ordered with avocado roll (can be ordered if not on menu), gurkenrolle or veggie tempura."

"Went here for dinner after reading good reviews but we were ultimately disappointed. The prices are ok and the atmosphere/decoration very pleasant but the food was poor in taste and quality. The veggie burger is just a potato/carrot pattie with some vegetables added and non-fresh lettuce. A sandy cucumber end was placed as a garnish. Worse was the vegetable tofu stir fry, which had rotten cabbage pieces. It seems that there was a general disregard for using fresh ingredients. When the cabbage issue was raised with the manager, she tried to suggest that the black rotten part was a result of the wok preparation, but when she saw we weren’t buying it offered to replace the dish. We chose to just return it which she was nice about."

"You have to pass by The Backyard for a breakfast or a lunch if you’r in Koh Lanta, both salmon and ham eggs Benedict are one of the best I ever had and the crunchy chicken wrap was delicious too, great drinks, owner is a super sweet person, the team is super nice too !"
