"Way out to the North of the centre, but an easy tram ride, and nice walking in vineyards/woods, of the ex-wine-village of Nussdorf swallowed up by Vienna generations ago. Only a few tables, serving a daily 2 course menu with a choice of mains. We had brilliant cream of garlic soup followed by ovened pancakes stuffed with roast chicken - food more Hungarian in style than Viennese. Really heartwarming and rather well executed. The Pinot Blanc we had by the glass was good also - they have a small range of wines from Hungary and the Burgenland. Exceptionally good value for a capital city as well.Worth the trip for the cured meats, salamis and klobasa from the deli alone. A stunning range, maintained and sliced by people who really care about these things.And we like the punning name"

"They have brought us to pluckstrudel instead of apfelstrudel. on the tiramisu they have completely forgotten and on the phone they were unfriendly and have just laid up! the promised voucher did not come to this day!"

"Bin vor 2 Wochen mit dem Rad unterwegs am Bisamberg gewesen.Da ich von der Höhenstrasse gekommen bin und auch oben viel gefahren bin wollte ich mir vor der Runterfahrt nach Langenzersdorf noch etwas zum trinken kaufen. Es war gegen 15h. Machte mal einen Blick auf die Terrasse, es waren nur wenige Tische besetzt. Da ich ein sehr teures Mountain Bike habe dass ich nur ungern aus den Augen lasse nahm ich das Rad mit auf die Terrasse ganz seitlich und stellte es neben meinen Tisch ab. Es stand nicht im Weg und behinderte weder andere Gäste noch das Servierpersonal. Rasch kam eine junge Dame zu mir, ich dachte sie will meine Bestellung aufnehmen, aber nein. Sie machte mich darauf aufmerksam das ich mein Rad draußen vor den Lokal abstellen muss. Auf meinen Einwand das es sich um eine teures Rad handelt und auch niemand behindert wurde nicht eingegangen. Also nahm ich mein Rad und verließ, ohne etwas zu trinken, dieses unfreundlich Gasthaus.Obwohl oben am Bisamberg Fahrverbot herrscht standen draußen mindestens 30 Fahrzeuge geparkt. Vielleicht sollte die Polizei da mal strenger kontrollieren, dann wird man auch für Radfahrer mehr Verständnis haben´.Ich bin dann in der Kellergasse bei einem Heurigen stehengeblieben wo ich mein Rad ohne Probleme zum Tisch mitnehmen konnte. Trank etwas und aß eine gute Bretteljause, wahrscheinlich beides günstiger als im Magdalenenhof.Für mich ist das Thema Magdalenenhof erledigt und man sieht auch an anderen Bewertungen das ich nicht der Einzige bin der dort nicht so behandelt wurde wie es sich für einen Gast gehört"

"We found this place by chance from Tram-Terminus in Stammersdorf. It is family business and our host was the owner and winemaker. The service was excellent and we chose from the counter, chicken with a mixture of potatoes, potato salad and sauerkraut. I had also washed bread and local smoked cheese with excellent house wine. We shared a large piece of cake with fruit and cream. For 3 of us the accounts came to 36 euros! The whole experience was a joy."
