"Capitato sempre per pranzo, il menu non è molto vario ma trattandosi di rifugio/agriturismo va bene.... sempre trovato polenta e salciccia al sugo rosso...e ottimi taglieri di formaggi francesi.Discreto il vino ( un rosè locale..dicono). Prezzi onesti."

"I've stopped here 3 times over the last 2 years and each time I was left feeling that that I was in their way. The last time I visited in August this year I was looking for some food at 1030am and was informed very sneeringly that "in France we don't eat until lunchtime". When I visited in July I asked for an espresso and some of the very nice looking fruit tart. I was then offered the scrappy bit of tart from the display rather than the nice fresh looking tart sitting behind it. When I pointed this out very politely I was sneered at. I've come to the conclusion that Brits are not wanted in there and I will go to the very friendly restaurant just down the road from it instead."

"Oggi ho pranzato con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante situato ai piedi del lago di Moncenisio, il quale offre un menù di cucina italiana ai confini con la Francia.Aria da trattoria adeguata al paesaggio montano, i piatti sono ottimi e gustosi, con possibilità di assaggiare vari antipasti, 2 primi ed un secondo a scelta tra carne o pesce.Abbiamo speso il giusto e siamo rimasti soddisfatti per la cordiale accoglienza e la qualità del cibo.Bhè che dire....ritorneremo per il bis!"

"Arrived in Val Cenis the night before and not yet been too the supermarket so headed up to La Peau de Vache straight after a mornings skiing. The owner, who remembered us from our previous ski holidays, welcomed us in and soon had us seated at a table. The food was as good as we remembered. If you are looking for a good pizzas or a steak hache then you can't go wrong here. They even catered for my daughters gluten free diet without any fuss."

"It is a little set back and not the easiest to find. At the bottom of the entrace stairs is the bin area which doesnt give the best aroma. Location isnr best selling point!!Once inside a slightly different story. Service is low level but very friendly, including from the chef who came out to speak to every customer and made a fuss of the kids in the party. Pizza is pizza at the end of the day and this was goodWould I go back, yes for the service and food but I might have to hold my nose until inside!!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans ce restaurant. La cuisine est très bonne et l'équipe s'occupe de vous. Avec 2 amuse -bouches, l'apero est tres sympa. Nous avo s testé et approuvé le poulpe et le menu polonais. Pour une fois qu'on peut manger autre chose que du fromage !"
