"We really enjoyed ourselves. For me, at the base, not frankly attracted by double fat!, apron of sapper...I let my husband take the plate of the tripier...that beautiful discovery!!! The double garlic and parsley fat... a slaughter. We had a great time. It's all there. Service, meal, price. We recommend Au petit Paumé : take the height !!!!"

"GCS is part of my Saturday routine. My family goes there after the farmers market happening across the street most saturdays. We were first attracted here for the caramelized pork which is quite the killer. everything else is the usual brasserie fanfare served in brasserie portions. We also particularly love the cafe gourmand as each week, the selection changes. The service is like any other brasserie but if you get the proprietress, she delivers good service. We're regulars so we enjoy great service. Their plat du jour is almost never wrong. The salads are pretty standard. It's definitely a place great for plat du jour and caramelized pork. It's our favorite brasserie in this vicinity. Outdoor seating available in summer"

"It was our 1st time in this nice restaurant. The owner has hosted us and helped us to understand the best of the Lyonnaise cuisine. My husband had the Andouillette, a typical Lyonnaise dish, made with pork tripe sausage (very strong, very delicious). I had...a delicious oeuf à la cocotte (an appetizer with egg, mushroom and fois gras). It has been a lovely dinner. Monsieur Barbera, an italian gentleman who lives in Lyon for several years has helped us with the choice of the wine (we explained him that we preferred strong wines). The desserts were also great, with a selection of cheese and the famous Baba au Rhum (alcoholic cake). At the end, they have offered us a french red wine dessert (which we did not know). Very good. We'll definitely come back."
