"My family is a big fan of Cerveseria and we love treating our balikbayan and foreign guests here because not only is the food amazing, but the ambiance is perfect. It's pretty quiet whether it's during dinner time or lunch, the restaurant decorations are cute. Honestly, not very Spanish-y, but cute. It's well-lit and the bookshelves have actual books in them! Let me give you a run down of what my family usually orders. Setas Shimeji Fritas is one of the appetizers that we absolutely love! We usually order for an extra order or two (or three or four or maybe even five! because we always finish it so quickly. It's basically shitake mushrooms, battered and fried and it comes with a aioli dip that is to die for (really, it is. I mix it with everything! Huevos Rotos con Tocino is basically string fries with bacon and egg. I promise, Chef Gilbert made quite a a creation with this one! I mean, bacon, egg and potato? What more can you ask for? Of course we also order the usual tapas like gambas, calamares, croquettas (with goat cheese! Yum! , jamon, chorizo and queso. But the two appetizers I mentioned first are my favorites! For our main course, we're usually really full from the appetizer so we order share-able food like two plates of paella (usually the negra and cerveseria plus of course a Cochinillo! If you prefer to order only one paella, the negra is your best bet! And make sure you order (a lot of extra aoili to mix it with! If you're stomach still has space, go for the canonigo! It's nice and light and won't give you (much of a food comma. :"
