"Had fantastic service from Cecilia and Elvis, they were friendly, helpful and accommodating, and didn’t mind all the questions I asked. The olives are too die for and the anchovies were delicious! Kicking myself for not having gone here sooner but will definitely become a regular now! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"We visited this small family run Restaurant on a recent Saturday and we were so impressed we visited again last Sunday.Saturday was so busy and we had to book well ahead.In spite of the heavy bookings the service was good and we had to wait only 25 minutes for the mains.The tandoori roti was crisp and tasty.The chicken vindaloo was made only moderately hot at our request and was excellent.Vegetables included Mahkani Dhall a tasty lentil curry,a curry made from Aubergine which again was well made and to the taste of all 4 of the diners.This is a BYO restaurant hence we had soft drinks and mango lassi,a drink of pulped mango and Yogurt.All in all a good dining experience.Impressed by our initial visit 5 of us including two Aussies and three Aussies of Indian dissent visited on a Sunday.There were only customers on two tables in contrast to the Saturday.The coid rainy day might have had some effect.We were well prepared with our wines this time.The food was exceptional with the juicy Tandoori chicken a stand out.The chicken vindaloo was very good,but Dhall gosth,a lamb curry with lentils was only average.The vegetables inciuded Aubergines,Spinash,lentils,and the salad with yogurt were all of high standard.A good Indian dining experience by the 5 seasoned regular travellers to India and familiar with most Melbourne Indian restaurants.Prefer to visit on a Sunday next time.Not a 5 star restaurant but well prepared ,tasty whoiesome food.Main dishes were between 18 and 28 dollars.One will not go home hungry."

"Walking by, I dropped into Florina's as it looked attractive with it's classic charm. It's relaxing place with a family feel and friendly service.<br/ <br/ The meals were generous and classic in their approach. The whitebait was particularly good. This is a place I'll be back to."

"I arrived to collect an Online order. Following a 20 minute wait in the footpath...I asked about my order...advised it was coming...upon asking 20 minutes late..I was told by a non mask wearing individual who was handling all good it was coming..upon asking why he had no mask on..I was abused, sworn at and threatened...it turned out to be the owner Matt Hunter..I was the made to wait a further 10 minutes while my food sat in clear sight of me before he gestured to an employee to give it to me..upon getting...I was told off and I was lucky he gave me my food ..that is sanatised..he used abhorrent language. I would never support this man..or his behaviour towards customers or in front of young staff."

"The caffe had a great table service and the breakfast was delicious. However, the service in the inner was slow and the desserts, which were very recommended, did not correspond to expectations at all. I was not condemned to say the least. the desserts are also over prices for what they are. I would also get a reception and check it out as I was charged for additional items. while this was corrected, the time it needed was also very slow."

"Sat outside in the courtyard and service was really slow. I ordered a side of Rye toast so that I could have it with my eggs (should already come with eggs but anyway) it took them agessss to bring out one piece of toast, by this point my food was already cold to enjoy it with toast. Long story short, they charged me $7 for one thin piece of rye bread. $7!!!!!! That is an absolute joke and I’m not happy jan. Daylight robbery at its finest. Their excuse for the toast taking long to come out was that they were busy... it wasn’t even busy and how long does it really take to toast some bread?!"

"We enjoyed the set menu with some alterations. Overall, the food was good, but I would advise the selection of individual dishes or seafood/meat platters. The dips served with warm bread were very good tarama, hommus, tsatziki, eggplant. Zucchini chips and chargrilled vegetables were great vegetables glazed in balsamic and fig infusion, definitely order with meat dishes. The seafood component consisted of blue eye which was great and would be ordered separately in future; calamari was okay, certainly nothing special, would advise trying chargrilled than fried. Prawns were good as one should expect; next time would order scallops which come with the seafood platter. The meat platter didn’t wow me; with the exception of the lamb cutlets, once again order separately. The gyros was so so, needs more seasoning; ie. oregano, salt; the spicy sausage I thought was disappointing, not worth ordering in future. The desserts provided were good, certainly good for a sweetooth, perhaps a little overpowering for those who don’t like things overly sweet. The service was attentive and of a good standard, would recommend this restaurant but don’t opt for set menu, order separate dishes or a seafood platter with chargrilled calamari."
