"The picturesque schillerstadt marbach can certainly not complain about a lack of gastronomic offer: here you can enjoy specialties from all over the world, but also the ground-resistant, tasty, defensive Swabian cuisine. despite all, they are open to any new location. I am particularly pleased with the few weeks old i-dipfele. it is located in the middle of the central market street, in an old traditional building that originally belonged to friedrich schiller's great-grandfather. if they descend to the toilets in the i-dipfele (to be comminuted, overcrowded, old stages that are hardly removed today from the wow and which can certainly not be called barrier-free) they can still see some of these long history. but this makes a non-negligible part of the absolute charm of this place, which, by the way, extends over two half days, divided by the modern vase and a tiny kitchen in which you can hardly turn around. how to conjure such exquisite, high quality, beautiful and appealingly decorated food is a wonder. the place was very quickly adopted in local microcosmos and spontaneously praised by local and tourist: families, single-parent hearts, young friends, traveling, cultural, daily market buyers and gourmets. many well maintained details make the stay very pleasant: starting from the kisses on the benches, the crooked plates as a coaster for warm/heisse foods and the well-stocked basket on the toilet with deo, tampons, hand cream and goggle cleaning towels. there are beautiful hinguckers and beautiful decoration surprises everywhere. by the way, the creative of the i-dipfele come from the restaurant and finally played the old forge in big bidtwar. a real victor for marbach to have them here. we were in the i-dipfele twice in succession. once on Thursday, quite late and very close to the kitchen panel. Nevertheless, an opulent, lush salad with cheese was made possible for us, which has made two people full and was made from completely fresh, convincing ingredients: from leaf salad to thick cheese slices to fruity addition and several spicy olives and surprisingly aromatic gurken and tomato slices. baguettes were served, finely cut and served in the basket. a discovery was the local semi-dry riesling, which was wonderfully harmonized with this salat and needed more for 3.70 euro the quarter glass. only the fruit brandy (2.50 euro) had little aroma, was apparently much too young and burned at the end in the throat. we were very friendly, very patient, very attentive. the service lady has covered with gloves and has answered our wish very individually. so late in the evening we felt worn at our hands and we decided to take another look at the next midday. the place was also well visited and everyone was occupied. for enhanced service, however, each wish could be fulfilled. we were happy again, this time with Weisswurst breakfast (very Bavarian: 3 pieces,! with pulpe and plentiful senf), with chessed mouthbags from own production and fresh supplement salad (7.50 euro) and the specially staged, also domestically produced beetles (with two species of cheese) that were too warm (980 euro) all ingredients were of high quality. At the same time, we have closed on this site interesting well-known and entertained very relaxed and fun at a high level. almost friendships would have emerged. we strongly advise them to visit this jewel of the joyful as long as it has not completely overrun."

"If in the Swabian capital the long night of the museums is dead, it is worth fleing into the (hopefully quieter) environment. The Schillerstadt Marbach is clean, has a relatively intact city centre and a pleasant gastronomy density with diverse offers for every taste and situation. Unfortunately, our first attempt (on the Schiller's Olymp) has already been despised prematurely: not a single free table on Saturday evening until 6:00. Do we have to book in the province? We're going downtown, surprisingly without parking problems. After my (almost native companion) the large car park is obviously free, between the scenic headstone paver, but there are also many parking spaces and we are lucky: right at the city gate a parking space that is free from 7 p.m. In just a few steps you are now in the pedestrian zone and the surrounding streets. The Hermes in the straw alley tries with almost flat entrance, but then, evil surprise: almost ruthless staircase leads deeper and deeper into the Hades. Uniquely unsuitable for people with disabilities, even if the situation is secured with handrail. Below then the feeling of a crowded Greek labyrinth: at first glance I recommend only several levels and niches, much Mediterranean browned, even more Metaxa bottles and some (false) Greek columns. In confusion we find almost no superior to ask a free table. You are friendly business, but you can only assign us a small cat table for two people directly at the counter. Is it possible that we don't show up with the whole family or the whole circle of friends? Our place is narrow, limited and loud. When the coffee machine is thrown right next to me, on my left ear, I am deaf at short notice. The chairs are stiff and unpleasant, with hard wooden struts in the back area. For this we are served quickly and routined, but the goodness works something. Our order is not properly understood, which gives some loud-male misunderstandings, but nevertheless everything suddenly lands on the table: the obligatory welcome souvenir (known as "Schnäpsle" and fortunately not eaten, which I don't always like elsewhere), two red wine choir in Karaffen (a 2,80 Euro), among them a mixed cold starter (1600). The menu includes the usual Greek cosmos: from sheep cheese to peasant salad, from Gyros to Calamari, from Suvlaki to Bifteki and various opulent plates for several people. We choose the appetizer plate to have the chance to order something more to Gusto. The dish is well filled, but tastefully rather faded, somehow all ingredients taste the same, and no aroma comes out. We identify: abundant white beans, small seafood (or their residues), two filled wine leaves, each two taste-neutral slices of Gurke and Tomate, Auberginensalat, Tarama, Tsatsiki, several not significant spreads. Seriously quickly fed with bread without a lasting impression dominated. That's why we don't have a main course or even a dessert. Perhaps regrettable, as we cannot gain such an excellent impression from local cuisine. For this I could study the design of several generations of Metaxa bottles, while in my back a few boring fish jump through an aquarium with mini acropolis and I had to make sure not touch the decorative green plants around me when standing up. Our common impression after this restaurant visit: rather medium but seemingly very popular and well visited. If you get a quiet place in one of the niches, you need to have better conditions."
