"Second time here and got the faux eel at wife's request. Apparently super close to the real thing. Definitely fishy and pretty tasty, but a bit sweet for me. Also got a couple burgers. First time trying omnipork and was very impressed. Again, a little too sweet in the teriyaki for me, but very good. Also got the earth meat? Tastier sandwich imo, but not really a burger. Could use a bbq sauce. Cant recommend the soy cheese sauce which was very bland."

"I unfortunately only discovered this place 6 months into a year living in Osaka. Ate there quite a lot once we knew about it. This place is very funky and serves alive quality food. You know when you can tell the food is fresh, clean and vital...that 's what they serve you here. A little more expensive than some of my other regulars (Greens in Osakako and Green Earth in Hommachi) but real quality...and the presentation is amazing...it 's a great dining experience. Fantastic flavours compared to other macro places I 've tried. Can be a bit slow to receive the meal but well worth the wait, so leave yourself plenty of time for a relaxed meal and allow the extra prep time to get your digestive juices flowing and spirit fed. The cafe is NOT ALL VEGAN as mentioned in the post...they do usually have at least one fish dish on the lunch set menu, other than that it 's vegan, I believe. Watch out non-dog lovers cos the owners have a couple of poodle looking dogs hanging out in the cafe. Very calm and friendly tho. Updated from previous review on Wednesday June 01, 2011"

"I stopped by here mainly looking for some preprepared vegan food to bring to my grandparents' house. This place for the bill for that. I was excited, though, when I saw that they also had a lunch buffet set up, which appeared very vegan-friendly. Sadly, they (unnecessarily use fish broth in many of their otherwise vegan items (even their veggie burgers! , such that only a couple of their items were vegan/vegetarian."

"This chain is good to have as option for vegan eating, but it is not amazing. they have a vegetarian/vegan menu that is beautiful. the staff was not very friendly and the food was very spicy, although we did not ask for any spicy. eating also looks very rough, but it tastes better than it looks."

"El Pancho is a super popular Mexican restaurant located in the centre of Shinsaibashi. It's been around for years, and in my experience they are consistent in their service and menu items. They're accommodating of vegan food requests if you state them clearly. Don't expect fully authentic Mexican food they sort of throw a random mix of veggies (like potato and broccoli) into their burritos and aren't big on the spice; but for what it is, it isn't bad. "I was super excited to try this place! It says they open at 6pm everyday but they were closed when we went around 6:15pm. Nobody answered the phone either, and I tried calling yesterday as well. Super sad if they’re truly closed I will update my review when I try to go back in a few days."
