"I went to Catering By George on Fayetteville St. In Durham, NC on Thursday 3/29/21 around 5pm. I purchased oxtails and rice. The portion and the size of the oxtails were very small the price was $18 with a drink. I ate about 5 spoon fulls of the oxtails the mac and cheese was delicious but I could not eat it) about 35 minutes later, I broke out in a sweet. My stomach started to cramp but I had to attend class. Class was over around 8:30. I came home and went straight to bed. Around 10:30 PM, I was awakened by pain and cramping like I have never felt before. I was moaning and bent over. I told my husband I had to go to the ER. I was hurting to bad to even move and get dressed. Around midnight, I just could not take it anymore. My husband had to dress me. I still could not walk. and just feel back on the bed in pain. 6:00 am I was in tears, hubby held me up and walked me to the car. I threw up twice at home and once in the ER. The ER doctor stated that I had Gastroenteritis food poisoning) We were in the ER from around 6:AM til about 4:00 pm. I called the health department the day after I got out of the ER. They went out that next Thursday and there were no oxtails prepared. The oxtails were just arriving on the delivery truck, frozen. The health inspector asked if I knew of anyone else who got sick eating at George's. I told her no, but I put a post on FB and received a lot of negative testimonies. On 5/7/21, I received my $4,900 hospital bill. I called Mr. George. He refused to give me his last name and the name of his insurance company. He told me to get legal representation. I told him that my insurance company paid 80% of the medical bills and I just wanted him to pay the 20%. He said get legal representation. "My experience the 3 times I have gone is that they take too long to take the order, serve the food and collect the bill. You have to visit it having time, you can't go if you are in a hurry.They have a small variety of dishes, mainly American food.The flavor is good, but nothing extraordinary.The atmosphere is nice."

"Im staying at the Grand Hyatt and ordered fajitas for me and my kid. The seasoned shrimp is really good and huge portion. The salsa has nice consistency and flavor not too hot."

"If i could give zero i would. pizza great, but customer service was horrible. THEIR square system wasn?t working, and wasn?t take payments correctly. It was seen on my boyfriends bank statement that he paid 27.50 for our meal. They then waited until weleft the store to say ?The payment didnt go through?, then threatened to call the cops on us. We went back, and just to provetheir system was messed up we paid the same amount again. IT STILL DIDNT COME UP IN THEIR SYSTEM, but the money was took fromour BANK card. The lady even said it was a issue before. Then they tried to say we didn?t have a real bank card, and that wasthe issue. We ended up leaving and the ?manager? ended up calling us to say it was in fact a issue on their side. Smh. Yeah duh.Going to another location for now on."

"The wife and I are traveling thru Durham and Randy's Pizza was near the motel. We ordered delivery the all meat pizza was great and the garlic knots with cheese was awesome !!"
