"After finding this location on Google and reading the positive reviews, I ordered the large Family Lasagna, Rose sauce and Pesto. We enjoyed two of their Italian Paninis for lunch while picking up our purchases; delicious! .Our casual family dinner was so easy having ordered from Mulino Foods! The Lasagna was the best! Authentic recipe which was so easy to serve and everyone loved it! The Rose sauce and Fresh pasta was perfect for our Vegetarians (and others). Fresh corn and salads and 12 of us had a great meal!I highly recommend Mulino Foods, a small local business in Port Moody; we’ll be back!"

"Was on our way to Henderson Place Mall in Coquitlam, stopped by this Old Timer instead of our regular dim sum place at the mall. This is a total throw back to the 80's, once you are in you are transported back in time when...this type of Chinese Restaurant is the norm, serving mostly Cantonese dishes and in this case Wonton! To a lot of North American, their introduction to Chinese Food is Wonton, Sweet Sour Pork, Lemon Chicken etc. It is getting harder and harder to find this type of restaurants still in operation in the fast developing Lower Mainland. As for their food, it is honest good old fashioned Cantonese cooking with no fancy names or decorations. Highlight of our lunch: They do serve a pretty extensive list of dim sum items during lunch service and we ordered a few, their Egg Plant with Shrimp Puree in Black Bean Sauce is outstanding and can be compared to any other dim sum place in Vancouver. I also love the Baby Octopus in Satay Sauce, the octopus is steamed to just the right consistency and is not over cooked in this case, also the Satay Sauce is well balanced without being too spicy. Chicken Fried Crispy Noodles, a real throw back in time, this is exactly the way Chow Mien is served when I first moved to Vancouver in the early 80's. The Sauce is thicker then most restaurants nowadays but the flavour is very authentic; subtle and balanced of each ingredients which is the trademark of Cantonese Cuisine! From their menu, there are a lot more to be savoured and explored, we may come back to try their famous Crab Dishes!"

"Just happened to stop into this little quaint hideaway in Newport Village for lunch this past Sunday. Kind of expecting not a great experience but right away the staff great you with friendly smiles. Nice calm Japanese atmosphere with soft jazz playing in the background. They gave us a booth which was nice but my wife wanted a table setting so they moved us no problem. Got green tea right away. Basic standard sushi menu, Johnny ordered a box lunch, udon veggie soup, tempura veggies and shrimp one California roll Japanese radishes. Wife ordered a couple of the usual rolls. I ordered Beef teriyaki roll, Yam Tempura roll and thought I would try the Cali Fry roll and Peanut Butter Crunch roll. They brought us a free appy of cabbage salad with a really nice vinaigrette dressing. Short wait for the food to come, they kept our tea topped up. When the food came it was one of those "WTF did I order" moments! Massive amount of food. Johnny enjoyed all his grub and wife was happy with hers. The Beef rolls were ok, nothing special just predictable. Good. The Yam Tempura was very good, maybe awesome!. The Peanut Butter rolls were very good, very rich and crunchy, loved it! But the Cali Fry rolls were totally to die for. If nothing else I would go back just for the Cali Fry. Seriously I could have had three or four rolls they were that good. Had to share with wife and she feels the same as I do We will go back and we will have Cali Fry rolls and Yam Tempura. And again very nice staff to see you out the door. Thanks you Nagano for a wonderful lunch in a lovely atmosphere. Great now I am hungry again!"

"Years ago we went to the invitation of Iraqi-Canadian friends, whom we have known for 20 years, to this ice cream. this was the first time that we went to brown’s and since that time we have the langley and maple ridge standorte often approaching. our residency met. the 24 years married wife woman loves her nachos, while the Asian bowl and chicken sandwiches are the goal of me and our young adult son. the waiters gave us a very good service, although the place was very busy. kerwin n. maude"
