"New to the area and keen to find a great Indian. As a start I think it is a tiny bit pricey for take away (not sure how it compares to restaurant prices). Chicken chat was OK. Onion Bhaji was average. Chilli garlic chicken tikka was very good and the chicken especially good. Garlic naan was a bit soggy. Good staff and the garlic chilli chicken a good reason to keep trying?!"

"The Swan With Two Necks is picture perfect, in a really pretty Lancashire village. The food is excellent , we have never been disappointed and the portions are generous. The cheese and onion pie is the best I 've ever had, and the peppered steak pie my husband had was in his words absolutely the very best Chatty friendly helpful staff,and a cosy fire. Today every table had an Easter Bunny on it, and the dining room ceiling had hundreds of small Easter eggs hanging from twigs, so pretty. Also today the pub has just been awarded THE WINNER OF LACASHIRE AND NORTH WEST PUB by CAMRA NEED I SAY MORE !!!"

"I had a smoke on the water with smoked speck, shredded salat, cajun sauce and hot cheddar £8.80 (absolutely beautiful), and k had a joe le taxi with speck, avocado, salat and cheese £9.50 and did the "mega upgrade" £1,50, giving them an additional bark burger (two burger floor total 1). we share the baked kartoffels and chips between us (the chips were excellent, I guess they were fried twice so cracked on the outside and soft in the middle)."

"I 'm a regular walker in the hills and fells of this area and if I 'm within 6 miles of Chipping I always include this pub in the walk. It 's a no nonsense down to earth pub with a great selection of beers, but the highlight is, without doubt, the food. The standard menu is extensive and varied and there always seems to be a 'Specials Board ' too. I 've never had a bad meal here, in fact, they 've all been outstanding. Sorry I don 't know the chefs name but she prepares and cooks every meal from scratch and certainly knows what 's she 's doing and cares about each meal. Great taste and generous portions too. Why would you go anywhere else?"
