"This is a petit restaurant on the main road from Marans to La Rochelle road. My wife and I cycled from the Camping Bois Dinot in almost center of Marans to this restaurant which took us about 45 minutes. Pleasant ride in the sunshine and no severe inclines to trouble us! Arrived at restaurant at 1300ish and it was very busy. We sat and ordered a carafe of wine while we looked at the menu. Their speciality at this time seemed to be Toddy Moules which is cooked moules in a delicious sauce with onions, lardons(chopped ham) and other stuff which did make it tasty. The food was tasty we had a salad starter but it was a little slow as the restaurant was very nearly full. A popular French restaurant and seeing as eating well and at no rush on a Sunday we just accepted this! Staff pleasant and our waitress would speak English if we were unsure of what a dish was. But she was friendly! Tables and seats a little basic and not softly comfortable so I did fidget a bit! The ride home on the bike completed an uncomfortable afternoon for my bottom! Enjoyable but not outstanding!"
