"The restaurant in buffet style with a lot of food. there is an extensive salat and obstbar, as well as a grill where a few meat dishes are cooked. the other options included several local specialties. while I don't. enjoy a buffet restaurant that was delicious. the service was good and the personal friendly. While I could not have chosen this restaurant alone, after a long morning of the tours there was a pleasant interval."

"Here’s why I gave 3 stars. The appetizer was great. Hongo’s Oaxaquena. Reminiscent of a lasagna but a tad more liquid, no noodles but cheesy with a rich tomato sauce. It was my main course I had an issue with. Full disclosure, my Spanish wasn’t good enough to communicate or understand exactly what it was I was ordering. That’s on me. Flank steak, or Arrachera, with fries and veggies. About 420 pesos so not exactly cheap. I was hoping for a nice grilled piece of meat. What I got was that meat topped with beans, some kind of sauce and then cheese. Not my favourite and as I said, my fault. But the fries and the veggies actually made me mad. If you’re gonna charge that kind of money for an entree you better not give me frozen foods. The vegetables in Mexico are great. Grill ‘em up. Homemade French fries. Easy. Frozen vegetable medley??? Frozen fries??? Sheer laziness or total disregard for the customer. Very disappointing."

"Bonito lugar, es de lo mejor q hay en Mitla debido a que no hay muchos lugares para comer, precios justos, tisanas, café y frappes muy buenos, los waffles bien servidos y ricos, hay juegos de mesa y la atención genial."

"If you are visiting Mitla to see the ruins or spend some time walking around the market near the ruins, this is a great place to eat. It's a short walk from the Zocalo. Wonderful food, great service. Excellent moles. Superb limonada!"

"Our tour stopped here for lunch. Plenty of seating. Buffet reasonably priced at 150 adult, 99 child, drinks cost extra. There was no a la carte service at lunchtime, only buffet. Reasonable number of options for vegetarians. The salad bar and desserts/fruits section had good variety."
