"Beautiful place, old winery, off the road, umbrellas, trees, BUT this is the south of France its hot and no fans even under the shady umbrella's it was humid and uncomfortable. A few outdoor fans to blow a gently breeze through the tables would have...helped, the service was pleasant but not quick (it is the South of France) the food well presented when it arrived and it tasted good. BUT the price was very expensive for the area and there are many better and cheaper around. So left hot, full and feeling a little cheated. As teachers say Could do better."

"We were looking for a place to eat, as most restaurants were closed at celebrations. there is an impressive selection of homemade dresses, themselves served (i.e. they get as much as they want). the most surprising is that it deserts up to less than 14...euros for entrée plat fromage, nothing beats that. the people are very nice, no posh stuff here, only really good French dishes, go ahead! no secret that local people including politicists eat here and we will go back safe when we can!"

"Location, atmosphere and very pleasant staff. However, dishes not at all at the height of price and reputation... Several things: unsweetened iced tea... great amateur of the rougail normally, here very fade! The fries are clearly abused, we had almost only small pieces too cooked. The shrimp tapas was good but for 9 euros not enough quantity. The tapas vegetated very good and well served on the other hand. The excellent shock foam... 46 e for two softs, two tapas, a frieze, a rougail and a dessert. We will not come back unfortunately."

"Came here on our first night in Sauve. Was a lovely setting in the small streets in the town, lovely French food. Only odd thing I had was the pudding...a peach and tomato soup thing, didn't taste nice.Presentation of a Michelin restaurant.Nothing specific for vegetarians, but they put a good plate of veg together for my friend."

"The pub is well placed in the heart of the medieval village. we went there a noon or there was chicken swollen at 15 € (a little expensive), fade without taste, without salt, short, insipid. I don't understand that for a pub, it's just a charcuterie or cheese board that night. correct service"

"Authentic French food and the 16.50€ menu is a steal! This covers an entree, main and dessert. My mozzarella and tomato salad was made and presented with care and the freshest of ingredients. Lovely staff. The coffee was a bit much for my taste, but everything else was fine. Real French cuisine. There were several families dining and the staff were great with children."
