"I had a bad experience in the past but, today, I tried again and, ... good surprise! Due to high season, probably, ingredients are fresh and food, very very good. Typical dishes in a nice atmosphere if you decide to have a launch or a...dinner outside. Inside there are 2 rooms: the first is warm and nice the second one in ugly elegant style. Anyway, good relationship between quality and price. Taste typical dishes and not orders desserts."

"We had twice a fabulous selection of fish seafood, fresh from the ocean, with green beans and perfect fried potatoes, plus good local red wine. totally unneccessary to use imported Asian tuna fish mostlikely caught under awful conditions. there are the Italian fishermen almost in front of the door step. prices very much acceptable, and Suvereto is a lovely place! wir hatten gleich zwei Mal grandiose Fischplatten Calamari etc mit wundervollen Beilagen, plus gutem lokalem Wein. Alles zu sehr angemessenen Preisen. Völliger Irrsinn aber, importierten Thun Fisch aus Asien zu grillen, gefangen vermutlich unter grauenvollen Bedingungen. Es gibt genug Fischer unten am Meer! "We were delighted to find la cortevilla for our stay in the western toskana. marinella and paulo are the most hospitable, warm, friendly and attentive hosts that they could find. la cortevilla is a biologically working farm that also subscribes to the unique Italian agrotourism project. we were six nights in juni 2017 with him as basis for our exploration of the livorno and Grosseto areas of toskana. the building is in the regular truscan in design and construction, in the marinella and paulo have inserted three en-suite rooms - with an extension in the construction for what looks like additional rooms. our room, as well as the others of the views we had of them, of good size with high deck (upstairs for one of the other rooms) with private shower / bathroom and windows open to the farm. the room was clean and welcoming with a very comfortable large double bed plus an etagen bed to provide for a family, if desired. there was a lot of hanging and pushing room. the bathroom had a shower, large wash basin, bidet and wc all clean and well maintained. his vegan we decided to take the optional evening meal (not available on Tuesdays or Fridays) and the food was excellent. the breakfast consists of many fresh organic fruits and nuts from their garden, brot, biscuits, fresh house made tar or cake (courtesy of paulo,) juice, (soya) yogurt, coffee, selection of black and smoked, etc., and probably cheese and other milk products for vegetarian but vegan stay. the evening meal were delightful, tasty and inventive, consisting of salat, prima, pasta, seconda and desert courses – we were certainly not hungry – and we could not have been thrilled (and that is from someone who was a professional cook and ran a vegan resort for fifteen years – marine said that they felt sober and charming, but they had absolutely no need we are not able to recommend la cortevilla – at least 5 stars!"
