"Dominos has existed for almost 60 years, so they have to do something right. I was first introduced to Dominos when I lived in Prince George. The PG location (on Ospika) was quite close to where I was, and they offered many...big deals that, as struggling student at the time with very limited financial resources, were the most attractive. Even then, although, I didn't think that the pizza was something special – it was perhaps a notch about Food Court pizza or something like a Fresh Slice. The wings were all right and their signature cheese bread was very pleasant. But the one I didn't like most of all? The pizzas were always oversaturated – so much that the pizza sauce often exaggerated the cake, regardless of what it was. That's why I stopped ordering Dominos as a whole and I finally found better options. So there's the background. Basically, I had not ordered Domino's pizza for the better part of about 10 years. But lately it seemed, regardless of where I went I saw Dominos everywhere it was in the larger Victoria area or terrace: ads, vans, coupons, TV - you call it! I thought, “Oh, maybe this is a sign!” And it was a long time since I ordered from Domino. Maybe they would have changed better? Maybe the menu was updated? The latter was certainly true. Since my last order they have added a few specialties pizzas, boneless wings and various specialties chicken dishes to name some. You have also added a “piece of cake” rewards program. But how was the pizza? I entered the terrace location and ordered some spicy buffalo wings, cheese bread and a "Canadian" pizza. Although it was quite early a day that Domino already made booming shops with a fair number of call orders and supplies, even in the few minutes, it brought me to place my order so that they obviously very popular in terrace. Anyway, my food was fast (20 minutes) and I was out to taste my kitchen. The wings were unfortunately exactly the same as I remembered them: much sweeter than spicy; the happy bread was good and for me the clear highlight; and the pizza? Well, the good news is that it was not oversaturated, but it was really lack of taste for some reason and tasted quite salty for me. In short, I was not very impressed and suddenly reminds me why I don't order Domino. There are much better pizza options out there. FOOD: 2.5/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 3/5 RECOMMENDATION: Well, to be blunt, there are far better pizza options in terrace; for example pizza hat and checker. Regarding wings, I would say every pizza place in terrace plus safeway has better wings to offer. Again, I'm not sure how or why this place is so popular? I mean, I even heard that people are driving all the way from Prince Rupert to Domino – why?! Perhaps it is the “part of cake” rewards program?"

"We have ordered pizza and wings at this place many times, and they never disappoint. They are a take out or delivery pizza place so that is an added bonus when we come and stay in Terrace. The pizza is not the frozen type we...can tell from the pizza dough and crust taste freshly kneaded and done. The toppings options are varied and creative as well. You can choose a pizza from their line up or you can create yourself. Add up some dipping sauce and pizza dinner is awesome! So far we already tried their Bacon Cheese Burger, Hot Spicy, Perogy Pizza, and many more. The chicken wings are also notable, not greasy and just enough spices to enjoy eating them. Their delivery service is quick and polite and most importantly keeps the food hot and or warm when they reach your door. And not to mention, their prices are reasonable and affordable with the portions their food servings come in. We would recommend getting your dinner pizza from Checker's when you are in Terrace. Worth the wait and checking out!"

"Kathleen’s Grill was a pleasant surprise. If you know anything about me then you’ll know I love me some retro diners. Places that are reflective of the 1950s and 1960s are personal favourites because not only do they harken back to the days of personalized service and homemade food, but they tend to embody the carefree spirit of the age. There’s just something about entering a place like Kathleen’s Grill – with its various posters and signs of Coca-Cola, the Beatles, James Dean (amongst others) – that makes for a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere unmatched by modern eateries of any stripe. The food served here is “vintage” AKA homemade, which is exactly what I’d expect of a retro-style diner. When we visited, we ordered chicken wings, smokie, wheelie burger and a classic milkshake. The wings were good, but weren’t much different from anything that I’ve had elsewhere; the smokie (with CURLY FRIES) was substantial – very good; the “wheelie burger,” which contains 2 handmade patties, fried onions and gravy was, like the smokie, very substantive and – it has to be said – wheelie good! As for the milkshake, I think it’s fair to say that the old-style milkshakes are the major draw here. In the short time that we were seated and eating, a significant number of people came in and ordered milkshakes – and it’s easy to see why. Simply put, they’re awesome! Rich, creamy, but not too thick. Kathleen’s Grill is worth the visit for these alone. One potential negative: Kathleen’s Grill is kind of hidden away beside All-West Glass. If you don’t notice the “Kathleen’s Grill” sign on the unassuming strip mall, then this place is very easy to miss. Besides that, though, I have nothing negative to say about this place. It’s clean; the staff are friendly and the food fits the period captured in the diner and is available at a fair price. If nothing else, come here and try one of their signature old-fashioned shakes!FOOD: 4/5SERVICE: 4/5VALUE: 4/5RECOMMENDATION: This one is an easy thumbs up!"

"Psa: I just called and they have recently changed their hours to close 17 o'clock each day. in the last week only to sign at their door, said closed, but no other indications/information about what happened. old hours (open to 8 o'clock) are still posted at their door. I have submitted a change to google, but they don't know if it's checked, because I don't have photo evidence. if I look at other reviews, it might be a good idea that I couldn't get my meal from this place."
