"Went there on a Sunday night with my wife and three children. We had initially walked by and I saw somebody eating a pizza and as we went out in Laguna and shopped, I could not get that image of the pizza out of my head and I realize that’s what I really wanted for dinner so we went back, we ordered for adult entrées, a large Caesar salad, and an appetizer along with four non-alcoholic beverages. The waiter seemed very antsy when he took our order as if he had something better to do. They had also seated us at a table that backed up right into another table, and when they seated that table, I could not back my chair out without asking the other customer to move his chair and stand up while I got out. I requested a new table that would give us more space. The restaurant was not full. It was fairly light as there were only about five tables inside eating and about four tables on the patio after 25 minutes of waiting we did not even have our drinks. I watched our waiter go to another table take their order and go get their beverages. Then that waiter went to another table where they were in the middle of their meal and asked if they wanted more bread. He didn’t bother to offer us bread or get our beverages or even update us on our appetizer and salad. With that I told my wife and kids to get up and we left. I have not experienced such poor customer service in a long time. We are a family that enjoys going out to dinner as a family And what we most look forward to is good customer service. We have been to restaurants that have not had the best food but great customer service and we will always go back unfortunately for this restaurant they probably have great food but horrible customer service, and we will not go back. Just a sidenote to the owner. I’ve read your recent reviews and they’re all the same as what we experienced. it seems you have worked so hard to put together a great menu and a beautiful atmosphere in your restaurant. Unfortunately it’s going to be your staff that puts you out of business and run you out of town. I’m sorry to put down such a bad view, but it was a big waste of our time and energy coming in trying to eat at your restaurant . Side note, I was contacted by the owner and he is a great guy. Very understanding and is respectful toward all his guests. I was very happy after talking to him and will “in fact” give him another shot and bring my family back. I really dislike giving negative reviews and withdraw my previous comments as I do believe this will taken care of properly."

"A night full of amazing music spoiled by one bartender 's terrible attitude and misogyny.(I would like to say that the two servers tonight with the light hair and dark hair in ponytails were super nice and were working so hard tonight- thank you for all of your help!)As a person who only has job experience in the food service industry, I try to be as understanding as possible when I go out to eat or interact with servers. This line of work is hard and stressful, and I completely understand if someone is having a rough day and might not be on top of their game.I wanted to give our bartender the benefit of the doubt at first. I ordered two drinks- both the same except one was alcoholic. The drinks seemed to be labeled with cherries so I asked if he could identify the one with alcohol- I was answered with a sharp figure it out. Thank god I didn 't have a problem with drinking alcohol (I don 't have an allergy, religious reason or otherwise) so I was able to take this comment with a grain of salt. I think he saw the look on my face because he immediately followed it with I don 't mean to be rude and explained that he had a long day. It left me frazzled but I completely understand and appreciated the apology. After we got our drinks, however, he just told me a total for the two and wouldn 't take my card to let me close out? He turned his back towards us and didn 't come back to take my card to keep the tab open. While I was trying to flag him down to pay he seemed to be very passive aggressive to the guests around him. I wasn 't planning on leaving the bar and it was a busy night, so I gave up trying to pay for the 2 drinks after a bit and watched the live band. We had some more issues with his attitude when trying to order food, but this review is already longer than it needs to be. What I didn 't appreciate was at the end of the night when my friend and I waited 30-45 minutes to pay holding our card out when we were 2 of the last 3 people sitting at the bar. We finally got the bartender 's attention after being ignored, and he proceeded to talk to my friend and thank him for not skipping on the bill. He then complained about how many people supposedly left tonight without paying their tab and immediately followed it with not to sound misogynistic but almost all of them were women. He then rattled on about how he believed that women were entitled and couldn 't pay for themselves, and even mentioned that he didn 't believe that they were hard workers and depended on men to carry their weight. I know the women that work with this man would probably not appreciate having to share a workplace with someone who doesn 't see them as their equal. Needless to say we were more than angry with his open prejudice and left extremely uncomfortable. We paid our bill with no gratuity and I bit my tongue instead of calling him out on what an a he 'd been the entire night. If you decide on coming here and see a tall man with grey hair and a ponytail, I 'd suggest avoiding him at all costs or just leaving altogether."
