"Stopped there hoping for a quick meal of spaghetti for my daughter. Well.... that was not what happened. Truly felt like days to get a server then to get the food. The food itself was good- but the service was just soured the whole experience. I get the fact that as Americans we like speed, but even when moving at a Canadian pace- this still seemed like forever."

"Ti-Polo is a diner in the little town of Saint-Sébastien, near Henryville, just north of Lake Champlain in the in the Montérégie region of Quebec. It has long been a favorite stop on our drive up to Montreal. They serve the best poutine we have found anywhere. Poutine is a Québec dish of french fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy. I know, it sounds disgusting, but when made with good potatoes and the right cheese, and served hot, it is a great treat. Not for the weak of heart. A new limited-access highway means that Ti-Polo is no longer on the track to Montreal. But you only need to get off for a kilometer or two on Route 133. Don't be put off by the appearance of the wayside building. If you like french fries you'll find none better. And prices could not be lower. A local institution and a treat for visitors in the know."

"I felt like a waffle today and stumbled upon this breakfast restaurant. it's very well located near the Champlain bridge so I thought to stop in and try one of their waffles before heading to montreal were i work. Not only my waffle arrived warm and crispy outside it was hot and fluffy inside with a very nice buttery taste. the fresh fruit was undoubtedly cut upon order and stacked beautifully. I was amazed on how appetizing it looked and will be back for sure a couple of times a week."
