"It has got to be up there, if someone were to compile a list of outstanding pub views. I ordered a pint here, by just pointing to the pint glass, i.e. making sure I got a proper pint rather than the usual smaller type glass...they seem so fond of in France. It was filled with a perfectly passable German larger, and I was told “six Euro” I thought “Christ, that’s as steep as the path out there!” Only to get outside check the menu, and realise it’s the cheapest pint they’ve got! If you were looking for a pint of their premium beer Grimbergen, you’re getting into double figures. But y’know they’ve not got much in the way of competition up there. And with this glorious backdrop and the chance to sit, relax and reflect a while it was worth every penny. My girlfriend had an Ice Cream which by comparison appeared to be extremely good value, around We didn’t eat anything more substantial than that, but from what we saw the food looked perfectly acceptable, if rudimentary, pub grub. I think it’s great that they are making the effort to keep this place going up here. Don’t have too many though, remember you’ve still got a fair walk back to civilization from here!"
