"Rude staff, wrong order, cold food! I used the mobile app and ordered, waited for 20 minutes for my food... it never came. I went in, my order sat on the counter and said that they were too busy to bring it to me, there were 2 double cheeseburgers missing, and a 10 piece of nuggets, had also no sauce with my other nuggets. I reached my hand in my pocket with the frits that were completely cold. Then I told them that most of my order was missing, and the girl was extremely hospitable and said again how busy they were. Get me new fries that were cold and stale again. I don't even know how busy they were. I have the rest of my order, came home and had ordered the Mcribs without onions and extra sauce...Have onions and very small sauce. And to hide it from no one, but whoever saw all on the drive thru wore a mask."

"Madison Avenue Granite City, Illinois location. Horrible service and the store was a mess! Telling customers that they are too busy to help them in the lobby after ignoring them for the first 10 minutes that they were even standing there in the first place. They have plenty of employees but too busy standing around talking more than working and this was during lock down hours too. I witnessed several people come in and return their food because it was burnt. Manager telling employees that they don?t know how to change the grease for the fryers so they don?t know what to do. Also, the store was an absolute mess. With so many employees it only takes one minute to sweep up a little and wipe down counters. As a former store manager of a fast food restaurant this was all so unacceptable. They need new management badly. The other McDonald?s on Johnson road in Granite City is so much better put together and the staff is a lot more pleasant."

"Don't order a cake online. A few days ahead, ordered and came to pick it up. It wasn't there. They told me that a manager and assistant manager hadn't been in a few days, so they didn't have any notice of online orders. The children who work can still sell me a cake, but it was a little nerving that they were not technically ready or communication had not been made to employees."
