"Wife and I ate here twice during our stay at Le Meridian Nice. Both meals were lunch as this restaurant is not open for dinner. 1st day i had a burger and my wife had chicken ceasar salad , beer and cocktail. Food was excellent, salad was so big I had to help her finish. So on our 2nd visit we just ordered the chicken ceasar again and split it. This was more than enough food to fill you up for lunch. Restaurant is on the rooftop of the hotel with amazing views."

"Average food, at best. my experience of the place is somber by sitting at a table outside surrounded by cigarette butts rejected by previous guests or staff. hamburgers are their thing, but my son described his cheeseburger as so wrapped in cheese that it was impossible to taste the beef. I agree with the previous comment that questioned the quality of beef: I had a rumsteck that was at the height limit. better reviews for other dishes but always hard to understand, this place is increasingly appreciated by your. . ."

"It was our last day in Nice and we wanted something fast and easy. So we looked for burger spots. We decided for LaPlanxa because it was 2 minutes from our hotel. We sat down outside and immediately received some cold water for our table (on the house) We both decided for the burger. They asked how we wanted the meat (we wanted medium rare) and that's exactly how we received it! The burger was DELICIOUS! We ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. I'm a cheese lover so I really appreciated the amount of cheese there was in this burger. They also used coleslaw instead of normal salad in the burger which was amazing! The quality of this thing was sky high for only 10,5€. There was also a salad and great potato fries. We also ordered dessert: A Kinder Bueno milkshake (comes with the chocolate bar) and the salted caramel macaroon (comes with vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam drizzle) we ate it all up and also received an espresso each (comes for free with every menu). We both loved this place and regretted not eating here the first night as well! Great service, both men that night spoke English very well (always a plus). Wonderful experience."
