"So i am as far from being vegan as its possible to be, and would never normally frequent such a premises, however some friends bought us some pastries from here and they were incredible. I have no idea how they have done it without cows butter, but they are as good as the finest french boulangerie. We have since had them again and they were just as good. The plain crossiants are my favourite, and my partner adores the almond ones."

"Went for the Wednesday steak night and to be honest this was far better than any steak house I have been to. Steak was so tender and tasty and sides were a joy. Some how fitted a dessert in and that was top restaurant quality as well. Need to visit more often."

"Had booking but name was not taken, just shown to table. Had to go to bar to order as app not working. Staff pleasant and helpful, food came in good time, hot and plentiful. Prices very reasonable. Check backs and table clearing good."

"I had my 40th Birthday at The George on the 24th June. Natasha and her team did an amazing job, catering for 120 people for a Mad Hatters Tea Party, the food, drink and service was fantastic. I had the most amazing day with friends and family, all stress free, as Natasha managed everything. Thank you all so much for giving me the party I asked for. Until next time......!!!!"
