"We had the worst meal we have ever had!!! It was dreadfully expensive for a "soup" that was grey with hints of brown, salty and had ONE overcooked mussel (it was a fish soup....). The tapas plate we simply couldn't eat, not only were they chewy and stale but presentation was awful!!! The fish grill was beyond disgusting. I imagine fish was grilled the night before and left to sit under the hot light until noon when we had the misfortune to order it!!!!Location was amazing and that's what fooled us...If you can avoid it, please do."

"My husband and I stumbled upon Cafe Cosi when we first visited Biarritz four years ago. We remembered it as being well-prepared food served at good prices. We returned for lunch yesterday and were impressed all over again. Now, this is not the kind of place that Michelin would rate (or even notice) But what you get for what you pay makes this one of the best places in Biarritz to enjoy lunch. Yesterday we had a seafood salad (very tender squid, big tasty chunks of white fish) pasta with pesto, mushroom ravioli, an individual cheesecake and a salted caramel glace with coffee. The servers were incredibly nice and engaged us in some very lively French conversation, which I always enjoy. We will definitely be returning here."

"We found moony on TripAdvisor and it was a great discovery as we eat here as we want a very good hamburger with some well done fries nearby. They have many hamburgers and also wraps and good salads, everything is good. Service is nice and gebtile and the blonde waitress is very nice. Prices are in the average considering Biarritz and that you are eating good burgers in a nice resto .."

"After walking around most of the town and looking at menus which are mostly entrecôte, canard and salads we hoped for something different. This was the place ! I ordered chilli con carne and it was the best I've ever had at any restaurant worldwide. It was served in a clay pot with a lid and accompanied by a little bowl of boiled rice and a basket of warm flour tortillas and crispy tortilla chips. Absolutely superb. My husband had the classic burger with chips, it was a homemade burger which was dressed with fresh salad and cheese. The waiter was so friendly and efficient. 40€ Including 1 glass of wine and 2 bottles of Carlsberg. Would definitely return. Try it ! Head towards the beach and it's on the left tucked in behind another restaurant."
